We love this practice. Have taken our children there for the past 10 years. Have seen most of the Dr.'s there and have been satisfied with all including nurse practitioners. Would recommend to anyone asking.

I have been very pleased with the care we have recieved from this practice. We are always called back promptly when we call with a concern, always receive appointments when child is sick (we love Sue), and most importantly, we have been very happy with all the doctors, I find the jr. docs to be as competant as the more sr. staff. All have been kind and caring as well as knowledgeable. My only (and a big concern for my hussband) complaint is the wait time before and during appts. and when I expressed this concern to the management, they were INCREDIBLY responsive. It is a busy practice, but good medicine is worth the wait.

From my 32 yr old brother to my 2 yr old son, my family has never had a problem with any doctors here! Anytime I have had a question or concern about my child they have always been right there! They are great. Our regular doctor is Crock, but we have seen them all and love them ALL!

We've been w/ them for 3 years w/ 1st child and now newborn. We are changing providers immediately. Have had no "positive" visits, have had some "neutral", and multiple "poor experiences" with them. Overall - a lot of finger pointing (at their own staff, at us,a t other practitioners, etc), poor manners, excuses ("sorry we were rude to your wife on the phone, we're busy"), etc. We have not been at all impressed with the level of competence on medical issues, either.

I've used Sleepy Hollow Peds for nearly 18 years. I still remember our "interview" visit when I was pregnant with my first child. The doctors are good and nursing and other staff very responsive -- busy yes, but kind and responsive. In general the practice is better at the standard kid-stuff e.g. well-baby care, ear infections, etc. I've heard mixed views on how well they pick-up on rarer and more complex cases. Nor were they as proactive as I would have liked on addressing development delays. But they did immediately identify a serious neurological illness when I brought my child into the office and were present and supportive through hospitalization and follow-up care. It is a solid practice and I find the more junior doctors as well trained and responsive as the senior docs (Crock and Trabert). We have made a point of using all the docs over the years so they are familiar with and to my kids.

Overrated practice. To be fair, it appears to have had a good reputation at one time and we had no complaints about Traebert & Crock. But there's nothing spectacular about the others, especially the newer docs who aren't that great. Talking to other local parents, the number of people who complain about this practice is roughly equal to the number of people who rave about it. Meanwhile, the only negative we've heard about the place we switched to is that it's busy and you might have to sit in the waiting room- nothing bad about the docs.

We have seen several pediatricians here, although we choose to have my daughter (age 2) see the same one for her routine check-ups. We love the nursing staff for their compassion and humor, and have gotten great advice and care from all the doctors we've seen there. Some of the doctors have been working there for years and years, and they are superb. Our primary physician is one of the younger/newer doctors, and we think he is very knowledgeable and helpful...we had our pick of pediatricians, and have been very happy. It is easy to get an appointment here when your child is sick, and call-back for phone queries is prompt as well.

We've been going to this practice for over 18 years, with four children and a full range of childhood illnesses and injuries. They are kind, responsive, accommodating, careful and thorough. When we see them, we always feel as though the care of our children is a partnership, that they are as deeply invested in the health of the kids as we are.

Among the extraordinary things they have done, one was coming in on a day off to visit one of my children in the hospital. On another occasion, one of the younger doctors anticipated the possibility of exposure to community MRSA, thereby ensuring immediate and appropriate treatment.

All in all, we have never had anything but really positive interactions with the doctors and nurses in this office. They were originally recommended to me by an OB/GYN friend who told me that this is the practice used by all of her colleagues.

We no longer go here; the inexperienced junior doctors aren't supervised closely by senior doctors, and we prefer not to take a chance w/our precious child!

I took my older children there during the 1980's.Then when I had my third child in 1997 I would have never thought but to only take her there. The doctors, nurses and other staff are very knowledgable, friendly and take personal care for everyone. They have gone out have their way several times for me and my children to help us.Even when my son was hospitalized for an orthopedic reason, when one of the doctors was in hospital for another reason she came to see how my son was doing as a friend, not just a doctor.Even my adult children still have fond memories of their doctors. My youngest and last child is 8 years old,so if they are still around for the next 10 years,I will continue to have them care for her medically. And if they are still there, when I have grandchildren I will do everything in my power to conveince the other parent of the children to let them have them as doctors.
