Worst psychiatrist I've ever encountered in my life. He's absolutely in a wrong profession. Judgmental, rude, not caring or compassionate in any way. He's also one of those doctors who will push a certain medication on you NOT because the medication is appropriate for you but because he has a relationship with the company or the rep. I saw a note pad bearing a name of an anti-depressant in his office. Guess which anti-depressant he wanted to prescribe? The one on the note pad. When I asked him why he was recommending that particular medication, he sarcastically answered that I should do the research myself since I "seem to be quite the drug researcher." Totally inappropriate and unprofessional comment to make as a doctor. The only positive thing I can say is that it was very easy to get an appointment (the very next day) and after my first and last appointment, I understand why.

Business Response:

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you feel this way, but it appears that a misunderstanding occurred. I have been in practice for 30 years, and I have never prescribed any medication for a patient that I did not believe was the best choice for that individual based on the person's symptoms and the most common side effects of that medication. The first step for me in deciding which medication to prescribe is to take a detailed history of the patient's symptoms and previous medications. I will always choose a generic version of a medication, if an appropriate one is available. I have no professional contacts and receive no financial gains from any pharmaceutical reps. Office pads, pens, and other courtesy items are simply given as promotional items by reps and do not imply our endorsement of a particular product.
