I was very disappointed with Avis Goodwin. After repeated telephone calls with no return call, I finally got through and talked to the office manager. I recently had major surgery and needed a Doctor, as I was coming from out of state. Not only was she (the office manager) not apologetic, but she was rude. I figured if they can't even return NUMEROUS phone calls or apologize, it wouldn't be worth it for me to even step inside the place. So here I am in NH, still with no health insurance, despite working 3 jobs! Sorry to hear about this person who died of cancer, under their "care".

Just buried my best friend, after continued complaints to MD, after diagnostic tests showed cancer stage 2 treatment never given nor was my friend made aware that had cancer. It was only after she finally made it WDH and staff that she found out . In May already stage 4. Other should look further into the providers book thatn sticking with AVIS BADWIN

I usually hate community health centers. They are generally not very attentive or caring in my opinion, but this place was a joy to go to. They took care of my needs at the time, and were quick and nice about it.

I was in between health insurance policies and I got a wicked bad ear ache. Getting an appointment was very easy. It was easy to find and has plenty of parking.
The visit with the nurse practicioner was very professional. She examined me, looked at my ear, and gave me a prescription for ear drops.
The downside is the waiting room. This is the low income health care place so there are all kinds of people here--mostly sick, coughing, unruly kids. This is just not an upscale doctors office. But, if you need to see a doctor or nurse and you have very little money, you get help and are charged on a sliding scale. That is a positive in this day and age.

PROS: Easy to get appointments, very inexpensive
CONS: Creepy waiting room
