Our family went to this dentist for several years despite having billing problems and confusion with our
insurance and having to clear it up numerous times and given the explanation "we have over 3,000
clients and it's hard to keep track." My 16 year old daughter went to another state to go to school after
having seen Dr. Anderson within two months of seeing another dentist. She had over 11 cavities and
needed several root canals with the new dentist. Dr. David Anderson himself, explained this when
asked by me, by saying "your daughter has cancelled visits before and also, we only do a full mouth
xray every 5 years and you did not request a full mouth xray, and it's over 5 years since your daughter
has had a full mouth xray" I said we have been coming here for over 5 years for every recommended
cleaning and dental work and why didn't someone say that she needed to have the full mouth set
done again? He said it was our responsibility to let them know what our insurance would pay for. I
think that the dentist should alert you to when you need something done wich would have avoided all
the pain and time and extra cost that my daughter had to endure. We switched dentists right away
and the entire family needed immediate root canals despite having good insurance and having
regular exams with Dr. David Anderson. Off the record, his front office person, said she was underpaid
and was asked to leave for asking for a raise and said Dr. Anderson operates with too few staff and
too many clients. I have seen many stressed out front office personnel come and go.

Pros: gentle with kids

Cons: too many clients resulting in too many mistakes in billing and not alerting the clients to when they were eligible for full mouth xrays and I suspect underpaid, overworked staff
