First went to the doctor because I had an infected toe and needed to be seen by my 'general practitioner' for a referral to a specialist but did not have one at the time. Within a couple visits he had me on blood pressure medication which started getting me sick. I asked if that was the reason I was vomiting daily but was assured that was not possible. Instead the problem was pointed toward my gull bladder and immediate surgery on it was demanded. Everyone at the hospital couldn't believe that the surgery was so important if the gull bladder wasn't bothering me, I had absolutely no pain. But we went ahead with the surgery anyway. After the surgery I continued to get sick but was told it must be a reaction to the anesthesia even though I've never had that problem before. My vomiting did finally stop... but only months later when I took myself off the blood pressure medication. The doctor seemed nice enough but he obviously doesn't listen to his patients. He seems to think he knows what's best and we couldn't possibly know what's wrong with our bodies simply because we don't have a medical degree.
