Dr. DeMuth handled an emergency surgery for me and lucky for me, I was looking for a gyn at the time. He's been great ever since. When my daughter was having terrible pain and had been misdiagnosed in two separate emergency rooms, I took her to Dr. DeMuth who correctly diagnosed her ovarian cysts, and put her on medication which has prevented the problem ever since.
His manner is warm and friendly, his demeanor professional while still being open and human. I'd say you're in good hands if you have him as your Doctor.

I have never written a bad review about anyone or anything, as I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. However, I feel so strongly about warning women against Doctor DeMuth, that I am breaking my rule. People show thier true colors in tough situations...Dr. DeMuth's true colors are ones that you do not want to see in a person, let alone your doctor who you trust with your body. First, he performed an aggressive DNC, which caused Asherman's syndrome. DO NOT have him perform your DNC - there are plenty of good doctor's in the area - he's not worth the risk. I would not be writing this review, if it ended with he gave me Asherman's sydrome, but did everything he could to amend the situation. The sad fact is that he did NOTHING to ammend the situation, and when I needed him most, he completely disappeared. First, he did not have the courage to tell me to my face that his surgery resulted in Asherman's. He had another doctor tell me, 2 months after he suspected it. (Please note, I am over 38, and time is the essence to get pregnant). After I contact him, he puts together a plan to fix his mistake -- a plan that gives me hope again. I assume that we are moving down the path, and out of the blue, I get an EMAIL from him that says he wants to wash his hands from the whole experience. Please note, he was my doctor for two years, and he drops me via an email. Trying to get pregnant over 35 has too much drama and too many risks. You don't need a doctor who creates it, nor one who does not know how to communicate live with you and avoids you when he has bad news to communicate. You need a doctor who is there to genuinely help you. Dr. DeMuth is not sensitive to the ups and downs of the process and will treat you with no respect. If you are over 35, please don't waste your time with him. Your window is too limited to take the chance. Trust someone who just wasted two years trying to get pregnant and was left with Asherman's and a doctor who skipped out via EMAIL, as a result of trying to give Doctor DeMuth the benefit of the doubt. He is not a good person.
