We have been extremely happy with the care provided by Dr. Tabb. She has been taking care of our family's dental needs for over 20 years. She is always very professional, thorough and efficient. She did a great job with my veneers several years ago. We have absolute faith in her knowledge and expertise. Dr. Tabb is wonderful!

Having chipped my tooth on a Friday evening, I was certain I would have to wait until Monday morning to see a dentist. On a friends recommendation, I called Bethesda Family Dentistry on Saturday morning, and was seen that afternoon by Dr. Tabb. She was very caring and gentle, was able to fix my tooth so that it looked like I had never chipped it, all without making me numb. Dr. Tabb is an awesome dentist, I would recommend her and her practice to anyone in the DC area who wants quality dental treatment.

I was in the Dr. Tabb's office the day this guy came in to get his records and I am pretty sure it is the author of the last 2 reviews on Insider Pages.. This guy SNATCHED his xrays from this young little front desk girl and then leaned over the counter and grabbed some other charts and ran out the door!

I have read the reviews and I remember that name Denis so I am pretty sure it's him. He is spreading a smear campaign against Dr. Tabb who I have gone to for YEARS. My kids go to her too. I have complete faith in her.

I read the stuff on Yelp where he wrote bad things there too but Dr. Tabb responded and at least you can read her side of the story and it makes sense now.. That guy needs some therapy! I cant believe he stole his dental records and ran out of the office with them!

We have moved 18 times over a span of almost 40 years and so I have known many dentists. Deborah Tabb is definitely the worst I have ever known. Not only did she sit me down at my first visit to try to sell me thousands of dollars of dentistry, which other dentists will told me I do not need -- I know because I never was told before that I had so many problems with my teeth so after leaving her office in astonishment, I went for consults with other dentists -- top-rated -- who assured me I did not have the many problems she had diagnosed. Moreover, her basic dentistry diagnosis of 3 cavities in my mouth, 2 of which were under bridges (big bucks to be made with a new bridge) was completely wrong. I had only 1 cavity and it was located elsewhere, so if I had stayed with Tabb, I would have had 2 bridges unnecessarily replaced. Very incompetent. I have also observed Tabb on numerous occasions as she took care of my elderly mother. She kept insisting that my mother needed to return another time for the periodontist, and yet another time to see the endodontist, and kept finding new problems in my mother's mouth. I couldn't help but think that since she employs these specialists on a regular basis that she needs to find patients who can be suckered into spending additional money to support these specialists. And when I tried to question the necessity of my mother's returning yet another time to see a specialist, or have yet another procedure done, Tabb's demeanor changed from pleasant to hostile and insistent. I note these personality changes because I am a psychologist, and as I look back, I can't help but wonder what underlying issues drive Tabb's bizarre diagnoses and scare tactics ,such as insisting that a patient has severe periodontal disease when in fact he does not (my husband). This behavior frightens me, does not appear rational, and reeks of lack of professionalism.
