Let me begin this review by telling you that I have really bad teeth, I have since I was 16 years old and I'm 22 now so I've been to my fair share of dentists. I've also had some bad experiences with "bad" or incompetent dentists so I developed a "fear" or bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. In fact, I even start to shake and sweat the morning of my appointment.

Suffice to say, I'm not the easiest patient when it comes to dentistry, and my previous dentist wasn't right for me. After looking around on Google for a dentist I found Dr. Dell's website, I looked around, read his reviews and decided that I would check him out.

The first person I spoke to on the phone was Diane, the Front Office Manager, she was very nice and we decided on which day would work best with my class schedule. The next person I spoke to was Kathy, after telling her that I experience anxiety that borders on panic before and during a dental appointment. Kathy was so nice and understanding, she even told me she'd hold my hand the whole time! Of course I wasn't going to do that, I am an adult male after all lol, but the fact that she offered was so cool.

Before my appointment Dr. Dell called me from his cell phone to introduce himself, to talk to me about some of the options they have to treat anxiety, and basically just to fill me in on who he was and how his office is. I was immediately impressed that, before even stepping foot in the office, everyone there had gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.

My first appointment involved two root canals on my lateral incisors(front teeth on either side of the middle one's). To say that I was nervous or apprehensive would be an understatement.

Upon walking into Dr. Dell's office I immediately noticed that this wasn't your typical dentist's office. The inside looks like a forest, complete with trees, plants and waterfalls. There are waterfalls in every exam room, and the sound of running water can be heard throughout, it's very relaxing. Even the chairs are cushioned with memory foam.

I met Diane first, who was much nicer in person and very good at what she does. I didn't have to fill out a bunch of paperwork because they have the forms on their website, that saves some time.

Then Kathy came out and said hi, and after that she gave me a tour of the office. Kathy is very welcoming, warmhearted and extremely nice, it felt like we were already old friends.

After that I met Dr. Dell Goodrick, I found him to be very affable, compassionate and an all around cool guy. He's exceptionally knowledgable and since I'm the type of person that is interested in learning about everything, he explains everything to me so I know what's going on. He's also very active in philanthropy, involved with numerous charities, specifically repairing the smiles of domestic violence victims. Essentially he's a great guy and a great dentist.

My appointment went very well, I experienced no pain and everyone was very accommodating. Dr. Dell and Kathy both made it apparent that my comfort was priority.

Later that night Dr. Dell called me again to check to see how I was doing. Wow.

I've been back to Dr. Dell twice now and every time has been as great as my first appointment. I have finally found a great dentist, you can't imagine how great that is after literally going to dentist after dentist only to be disappointed each time.

The reason Dr. Dell's office is so much better than any dentist I've been to is that, because Dr. Dell isn't contracted with the insurance companies, they can really focus on patient care and accommodation. Instead of trying to get patients in and out as fast as possible, while squeezing every dollar they can out of you like most dentists do, Dr. Dell takes as much time as he needs to make sure everything is done right the first time, and that you(the patient) is as comfortable as you can be the whole time. (If you have insurance, they will bill you, but your insurance will reimburse you for the cost, so it's not really a big deal.)

I would recommend Dr. Dell to everyone I know. My mom and I actually have extra business cards of his in our wallets to give to people that are looking for an extraordinary dentist.

Even if you're content with your current dentist I suggest you just drop in to Dr. Dell Goodrick's office just to meet him, Diane, and Kathy and to see how great/different his office is.

You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Dell has set up the most comforting and soothing atmosphere. Everyone in his office is nice and friendly, and Tiffany is the best hygienist ever! No pain, seriously! I can't recommend them enough!
