I'll always be a fan of Dr. Henderson's work. I suffered a massive hemorrhage following the birth of our second daughter and an emergency hysterectomy had to be performed. He did a spectacular job in emergent conditions.

perhaps i was the unlucky one but i want to let people know about my horrifying experience i had at st. Jude hospital with Dr Donald w Henderson .its been 6 yrs since this incident happen to me but feels like just yesterday.i feel like this shouldn't had happen to me i was 31 yrs old and and pregnant with my fourth child.at seven months pregnant i became ill. i then called paramedics to rush me to the E.R .well it wasn't expected but they were gonna do a emergency c section to make sure that the baby was okay.but i thought was gonna be one of my happiest days of my life to give life to my new baby boy.tuned into my worst nightmare thank god that my child was healthy and well.after a few days in the hospital was suppose to feel better.but instead felt like i was gonna die.my pain level 1being the least and 10 being the worst, i was at about 11. if doctors didn't know why or what was making me feel like i got beat with a baseball bat.At this point i wasn't feeling any better it was worst.i then called my daughter crying telling her i wasn't going to make it i felt like i was gonna die.she knew something was wrong because I've always been strong in every kind a way and if i was telling her that i was gonna die she knew i wasn't playing.mean while doctors scratched there heads and were wondering what was really going on.the doctors had said it was a mystery and that they were gonna have to perform surgery. they were gonna open me up like they open a hood of a car and move my stuff around to find out the problem.well when waking up from my surgery i do admit to feeling better alot better. well after waking up from my surgery i was curious to see my incision from the c section.all my other children were natural never no complications.so when lifting up the gown i look down and was in shock to find staples running down my stomach and a colostomy bag to my right.i pushed my button to get immediate attention. i was crying, and crying wondering what and why this happened. to me.i never got a straight answer from anyone but was told by a nurse that this wasn't suppose to happen to me the Dr nipped my intestine and closed me back up.that's what caused me to get sick.well there where more complications during my stay pneumonia, and they did do a minor surgery on my left lung so they could drain it.my stay in the hospital was about a month. throughout this whole tragic experience im grateful that my son was and still is doing well. but nightmare isn't over. my nice tummy i one had no longer looks the same.myself esteem level has dropped and still remains low.my life will never be the same .i need closure. well thank you for reading this i hope u be super careful when choosing a doctor.really shocking coming from a hospital i thought was safe. in planning to get the media involved just to really find some answers for me

When we moved to Fullerton 10 years ago, I switched to Dr. Henderson and am so happy that I did. He is very friendly and respectful and really took the time to get to know me. At every visit he asks me about my job and my family, and is truly interested in what I have to say. I have many friends who are also his patients and they love him just as much as I do. I have never been disappointed with any of the Medical Center for Women doctors, but I have been truly thrilled with Dr. Henderson.
