I cannot believe the treatment that my son recieved when I took him. The first visit, the consult with Dr Brockman was fine, he seemed nice. While leaving I asked how long it would take to "yank" his tooth as it was a very tramatic experience when my son was two (his cousin threw a rock and broke two of his teeth in half exposing the nerves so it was absolutely necessary but took forever and was horrible) Dr. Brockman then corrected me saying they don't yank, they pull teeth. HOWEVER, when we returned the next day, the nurse started off by doing x rays and ignoring my son when he told her it was cutting his mouth when she wanted him to bite down, it was frustrating that she was not listening to him and I kept trying to offer help which she of course hated. THEN she put the numbing stuff in the cheek side of his mouth and that was it. During the 15 min wait there was a 2 year old boy that began screaming, they were cleaning his teeth, had 3 people holding him down while he's screaming for help from his momma... the dentists and staff were joking that he has a set of lungs on him! This child felt threatened, felt he wasn't safe and they were LAUGHING about it!!!!!!

This was a bad start and got worse when the dentist came over, he told my son he was gonna have a look, then without informing my son the nurse passed over the shot of novacaine and proceeded to grab my son and hold him down which freaked him out, I told her to keep her hands off of him that she was scaring him and he can control himself if he knows whats happening and I told the dentist (brockman) to tell my son what he wants to do BEFORE doing it, he told him he'd feel a pinch, my son did ok on th part where it was numbed by the gell but then the dentist started shooting novacaine in the roof of my sons mouth which was NOT numbed and my son started screaming, I thought just one there so I was telling my son it'd be over quick it's ok trying to calm him down but then the dentist decided to shoot it in two more places on the roof of his mouth and at this point the pain was sooo instense my son was screaming uncontrollably and I yelled at the dentist to STOP and give him a min which he ignored and continued doin his crap ( if he'd not had a needle in my son's mouth I would've decked him!) after this my son was trembling in pain, tears streaming down his face and was just unconsolable, i was hugging him, kissing him, talking to him telling him the worst was over, that I was sorry the man didn't listen to me, that I never wanted him to experience that... during this time the staff and other dentists would look over at me like I had 3 heads but I could care less my son needed to be consoled.

After about 5 or so minutes when the novacaine kicked in and it was less painful he started calming down and I talked with him about when the dentist comes back he will want to check if the tooth is ready and that there should be no pain, but if there is he may give one more shot so that it doesnt hurt while the tooth comes out... well when the dentist came over he got the pliers, told my son he was just gonna check it and then started pulling, I told him he needed to tell my son what he was doing FIRST and he gave me attitude telling me he hasn't done anything yet and my son wont let him say anything... but he NEVER tried talking to my son first he kept saying he wasn't doing anything but I was right THERE and SAW him YANKING his tooth out while my son yet again screamed in agony!!!!!!! This guy is HORRIBLE, the staff is HORRIBLE, do NOT take your child here unless you want them to be tortured!

My son AJ loved Dr. Brockman when he recently went to the dentist for the first time. No cavities - but we'll go back!

Dr. Brockman was amazing with my children. He and his staf were friendly and genuinely happy to see us. The "report cards" my kids received were really cool. They know what to do for the mext 6 months before their next check up!
