Several years ago, I sustained a severe crush injury to my bottom lip. I first visited Dr. Henry Ho, who recommended surgery. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Rotatori, who was recommended to me by a trusted and revered physician whose son had had an injury to his lip that was repaired by Dr. Rotatori. After examining my lip, Dr. Rotatori stated that due to the nature of my injury, I would most likely get a much better longterm result by allowing the injury to heal on its own and avoiding surgery. He did a couple of cortisone injections to bring down the swelling. Today, I have a tiny, nearly imperceptible scar on my lower lip. A good doctor will never opt for surgery if there is another option. Although I have not personally had any plastic surgery done by Dr. Rotatori, his website does include photographs for those contemplating any of the popular types of plastic surgery. In addition, since Dr. Rotatori does reconstructive surgery as well, I would surmise that his skills are more finely honed than someone who only concentrates purely on cosmetic surgery. Having grown up in Ohio, I also know that Case Western Reserve is an excellent school, and very difficult to get into if one doesn't meet the grade. I used to babysit for a kid who grew up to be a world renowned pediatric neurosurgeon, Dr. Dale Swift, and Case Western was his university as well. Based on my experience with Dr. Rotatori, I highly recommend him
