At first, I thought he was pleasant and caring and knowledgeable. He was my internist and all was fine. Then I came down with a terrible illness that had symptoms of a virus initially and lingered. I ended with with muscle pain, nerve pain in my legs and ultimately all over. After my f/u visit, he had a new doc in his office see me and sent out blood tests. My symptoms went on for weeks. I made multiple attempts to contact him and I was told via the phone, that I had a "viral syndrome" and there was nothing that they could do for me. I still had muscle pain and nerve pain and went on disability. I ultimately found a doctor who ended putting me on IV infusion at home 2x per month with daily steroid meds. I was told I had Geon Beret syndrome - treated as a chronic condition, rather than an acute issue that may have been able to have been treated early - if it had been diagnosed.
