I was in my early twenties and had to go to Dr. Farha because my old dentist was not covered with my new employer. It seemed from his website that Dr. Farha had a well established practice, more so than I've seen with other dentists, so I decided to give him a try.

However, the service I received was sub-par to say the least. I went in for a regular cleaning, and the assistant shuttled me around, and I felt more like cattle than a patient. After I was probed and pricked by the assistant, who told me she was still in school, I was examined by Dr. Farha for literally two minutes. I was unnecessary pricked by the sharp dental instruments, as the assistant was very rough with my teeth.

After I got home, the pain persisted. Days after my appointment with Dr. Farha, my gums were still in pain. I knew this wasn't normal because I never left my previous dentist in such pain. Normally, I take good care of my teeth and have a regular dental hygiene routine, never had problems with my teeth or gum, so I know the gum pain is not a result of any infection.

Ultimately, I received a second opinion. The other dentist told me that my gum lines are starting to recede as a result of outside trauma. Visually, you could tell that my gum lines appear lower than they had been before Dr. Farha's appointment. I was also told that my enamel has etchings and marks, likely from the indiscriminate probing from the cleaning instruments that left me bleeding and in pain.

Bottom line, I am very disappointed with the skill level of the assistants that Dr. Farha employs. That one experience at his office caused me to experience continued gum sensitivity. Yes, I still feel it, two years later.

I took my Mother to this dentist and we've had nothing but problems ever since. He extracted what he said was 20 teeth/roots but when we went for a second opinion, because she was in pain, an x-ray showed that two roots remained. He charged us "upfront" for 20 extractions and both upper and lower dentures that she never received. I had to open a dispute with my credit card because he refuses to refund anything without my Mother signing a paper that releases him from ALL liability and also mentions she should make "proper financial arrangements with his office." It mentions nothing about the refund he is suppose to give. He was also untruthful on the dispute statement claiming I was in the room with my Mother during her oral surgery and saw everything, when in fact, I waited in the waiting room for two hours, the entire time, for him to finish. Dishonest Dentist! BEWARE!
UPDATE! After quite a long time of going back and forth on the phone with his office we FINALLY received a refund for services never rendered! Next time I will do extensive research on the dentist before having anyone work on my Mothers mouth again.
