Dr. Quiroz has been the pediatric for both of my kids along with Dr. Adams. They are both very knowledgeable and caring! As a mother I feel very comfortable having them as their medics. My daughter at an early age had a hereditary disease called Renal Reflux. I myself had it on my left side, but when I had it as a young child they didn't have knowledge of what I was suffering from. It cost me to loose my left kidney by the time I reached age five years. My daughter Seana was close to 3 months old when I felt something was wrong, to shorten this already long story, I had already taken her to 3 pediatricians within about a little over a weeks time, and they had different minor excuses as to why my child was warm, fusing, and had glassy eyes. They didn't want to listen to what I was trying to tell them about my condition possibly being hereditary on to her. Obviously I was not happy or convinced with the answers the Dr.s gave me. Two of them said it was a virus, and the last one told me that it was probably her teeth! (come on at 3 months!) So I had to call the insurance company to choose another doctor, they had told me that I had reached the limit of 3 per year, I explained the situation and still they did not want to budge, I spoke to the manager and told her that she was going to change the doctor or I would take them to court if anything was to happen to my daughter cause of their negligence, she finally agreed! I prayed to God to let me find a Doctor that would actually listen to my story so that she can be tested for the same thing I had. I found Dr. Quiroz in Feb of 1996. He listened and tested her for that, My daughter Seana would have died cause she had renal reflux on both sides, if she wouldn't of been treated it could of been too late and she would have suffered from renal destruction/failure or her the kidneys would have dissolved like my left one did.. I am so thankful that he took the time and cared to test her. Seana was on Antibiotics for 2 years, the antibiotics coated her kidneys so that the acid of the urine wouldn't eat up her kidneys like it ate my left one. Around the the age of two he tested her again and the studies showed that as she grew the walls closed and her kidneys were well and safe :) just as he had suspected. Seana is a healthy young 15 year old lady now, as strong as a truck with those well grounded soccer legs! As far as my son Oryon, he has been seen by Dr. Quiroz and Dr. Adams and they have always done the right treatments with him being prone to croup and being borderline asthmatic, luckily he did not suffer from Renal Reflux. I want to tell any one who reads this if you have kids or know people that do please at least consider Dr. Quiroz and or Dr. Adams! They really are terrific! Wonderful staff too! They are always friendly. Moms... ALWAYS follow your mothers instinct!

He is such a good and loving Doctor. After having bad experience with Pediatrix, I decided to change my baby's pediatrician. what a surprise when the staff treat me so good and be patient with us, I did not have to wait long time and Dr. Quiroz answer all my questions , he was not in a hurry and make us feel very comfortable. I highly recomnd Dr. Quiroz. =)
