I have been a regular patient of the Dermatology Center for 10+ years. I couldn't help but comment after reading a scathing review here - calling the doctor "the worst dermatologist ever" even after admitting to seeing him for several years. It would seem odd that they would send a tech or an assistant to see a patient - because that is against their office policy - It just wouldn't happen. Now if you are referring to the fact that Byron is a P.A., or Physicians Assistant, then I can assure you that he has many, many years of schooling under his belt and over 15 years of experience working as a Dermatologist. Besides, if you had been seeing him for years, you would know that. Also, I know the staff well, and will the exception of a few of them, the staff has been the same for as long as I can remember.

It saddens me to see that one bad experience can undo years of good experiences. The docs at the Dermatology Center are way nice, and go out of there way to help people. I always feel better when I leave and they always explain in great detail what to expect with my conditions. They are so kind, I almost consider them to be close friends. Please don't take one persons frustration to be truth.

I have been going to Byron Edwards for some time but since his office expanded he has completely changed his style. He overschedules. His expanded staff is untrained and rude. They are vulgar and tell the whole waiting room why every patient is there. I had always seen the Dr. until last time. He sent an untrained tech to see me. When I requested to see the Dr. (as I had made an apt. to see him and not an assistant) she told me I couldn??t because he was too busy. What? I had an appointment with the Dr. I asked her to have him call me. He never did. I called the office but he never made the time to talk to me. And you can bet I got a bill for a Dr. visit. I couldn??t believe the treatment so rude. The office staff is arrogant and uninformed.
