I found Elizabeth to be a bit condescending and a bit phony. She spoke with me about cholesterol and sited studies.....When I replied that I was familiar with the studies she was more condescending by asking "are you an MD". No I am not an MD, but I can read, I suggest the physicians read as well and not only the brochures produced by pharma and pharma funded med schools. I have read non-peer reviewed studies such as the Framingham study which she obviously had not. EVERY single doctor I have seen touts the Framingham study as if they were a researcher on the study. The study is flawed and a conduit to pharma profit. There are many articles devoted to the myth, please do your research before talking to a doctor. Doctors are human, they are sometimes gullable and are NOT always right, they may think they are but they are not. It is however amazing that the docotors allow the pharma rep who at best has a BS and believes them HOOK LINE AND SINKER. There is really no evidence that blood serum cholesterol causes heart disease. http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/cardiovascular-disease/framingham-follies/

The one good thing I can say is that the clinic she works in does not allow her to prescribe expensive drugs and I was impressed that she knew about red yeast rice as a natural statin, which the FDA wants to outlaw. By the way the FDA is on the take as well. So there you have it.
