I would recommend Dr. Moore to anyone. She and her staff are wonderful! I had my first child over 7 years ago, back when her office was in Riverdale and I loved her and her staff so much that I came back to her again for my 2nd child. I live in McDonough, so its almost an hour drive for me but it was so worth it. I was very comfortable with everyone and they all treated me so nicely. I have no complaints about anyone in her office, they were all very professional and if I were to have another child, Dr. Moore would be my number one choice!

This is weird, why is it when I click on to the link for Dr. Moore Generations ob/gyn it show's another Dr. Moore in GA. Well, I know this is the correct link, I guess someone is trying to remove the reviews. How do I know that this is the correct link for her reviews..hmmmm let's see, based upon the other reviews she did have a Dr. Shaw working for her there who I loved. The whole staff including Dr. Moore was incompetent & she would always cancel or re-scheduale her appts including mine. That was a constant thing at her office. They would call me a few mins before my appt to re-scheduale, I'm surprised she stayed in business as long as she did. She would never call me back with my test results, more than once they lost my results I had to go back to get a blood draw again. Being a business owner myself, it starts from the top (owner) the staff learns by example. If they see the owner doesn't care why should they.
Anyways, does anyone know if Dr. Moore is still in Henderson, NV? My neighbor said that she heard that Dr. Moore was moving back east somewhere. I need to get my medical records transferred. This doctor is just so unprofessional, just to close down your buisness and not notify your patients. She is so unethical on so many levels.

WOW! It's about time! I didn't think it would take this long for this office to shut down!!!!!!! When she fired her entire office staff I had a feeling it was only a matter of time. The office staff she fired was a good team that kept things together. She is a very good doctor! For all the patients out there that liked her, that's good! But you should have seen this coming.
The minute you as a patient see something is just not right, you need to complain and find another doctor so your not left in the dark!
And remember, all the doctors in the area and in town talk, so be very careful what you say!!!!! People that I know have had problems because of this practice.
I warned everyone and some people did not listen! I hope this opened their eyes!

I ran into someone who knows Dr. Moore and her office is closed indefinately. She is working at another office and I do not know the location. Also, she is planning on moving out of state. It would have been nice to have been notified or given a recommendation for future visits. When seeing Dr. Moore, she was very knowledgeable and I would recommend her. I saw her for 4 years and she delivered my daughter via c-section.

I do wish her the best on her move.

Where is Dr. Moore?? I went down there yesterday and the doors were locked. No notice on the door or anything. This morning I call and there is a recording that say's she's not seeing patients anymore, if you need to see a dr. look in your provider book and chose one from there. I guess they are closed for good. WTF????
Obviously she doesn't care about her patients, she didn't even have the decency to notify us. Yah, I always thought she was a little deranged, I guess my suspicions have been confirmed.

Has anyone else had trouble getting in touch with Dr. Moore's office recently? I went down there because the phone number is always busy to find a note on her door that her office was closed from March 31 through April 17. First, thanks for the notice for those of us needing appointments and prescription refills. Second, it's April 19 and I still can't get through. Anyone have any luck getting through to her? Frankly, if I can't trust my doctor to be there or her staff to be there, I won't be going there much longer.

where is dr moore? I went to her office and it is now a pharmacy? I have a very serious vaginal condition and dr moore started helping me back in 2003 before my son was born at sienna may, 31, 2005. I had a cyst/absess on my right bartholins gland that she drained and 6n months later it came back. I was referred to Dr futeran at the womans cancer center where they did the most serious surgery in the field of gynocology. after several reconstructive surgeries by her as well as dr futeran I contracted a colorectal absess- ended up in her office with a 105 temp and was sent directly to desert springs hospital where they took 3v quarts of infection out in an emergency surgery on thanksgivng day 2003 (Dr wishnev) I was left with a drainage tube out my rectum as well as my right buttcheek it immediately filled right up again and I was in the hospital for 2 weeks then sent home for it to drain which took over 30 days to clear up. It is still unclear why I got the absess other than too many surgeries. I have been nip/tucked in more ways than one in my vaginal area and have been left with severe chronic pain/scar tissue and more revconstructive surgery. she delivered my son in may 2005 and I was told he was a blided ovum and I was really not pregnant and sent to specialist- it was just too early and he didnt understand why I was sent ot see him. considering all my previous issues Im sure she was just being extra cautious where I was concerned as I have been told by every specisalist I have ever seen that my medical history is VERY rare- needless to say she delivered my son wiht not 1 issue hes perfect and now will be 6 years old. I have since moved to phoenix where I have found the best vulva disease specialist in the country /dr gordan davis and joseph brooks- they have done everything they can to fix the damage done. I would like to hear more about where she is now if she is still practicing or has she been suspended or how do I find out myself? I may reloacte back for work and may need her. I have had over 20 surgeries- has ruined my life and am now handicapped and look like cut up hamburger. Any help I could give anyone I would be happy to assist- I feel like I am an expert by now Laurie Gardner

Let me start off my saying that Dr. Moore was referred to me be several neighbors in my neighborhood. They all forewarned me, her staff is horrible and you'll have to wait a little while, but she is good. So, I knew what I was walking into.. For the first 4 or 5 months, I saw her and everything was well. I than began seeing her backup doctor, Dr. Chambers because she was in the office less and less. The staff remained friendly, but unprofessional. Dr. Chambers (BTW) was absolutely AWESOME!!! But, back to Dr. Moore. We discussed and decided that I would have the baby at St Rose- Sienna, but it was scheduled at Spring Valley for that upcoming Monday. When I explained to the staff, they were not able to tell me why. This was a Friday evening. On Sunday, I went into labor and rushed to Siena (since it was closest to me). I was then notified that Dr. Moore'delivery rights to currently suspended . If I wanted to have the baby now, I would need to go to San Martin, since now they was no room at Spring Valley... And so I had the baby at San Martin. I was EXTREMELY difficult for my hubby to travel all the way across town when we lived only 5 minutes away. She did a good job and all. I just wished people were upfront and truthful with me. Sometime in 2010, the ENTIRE office staff was fired and a new staff was hired. After I had the baby, Dr. Moore was no longer able to see me. I then saw Dr Shaw from then on out. He is pretty nice, but he'll pretty much do what you want...

After a pelvic exam, ct scan, ultra sound, and procedure for endometrious, Dr. Shaw decided I needed a D&C, which he performed in September 2010. It turns out he crushed the labia on both sides of my vagina, tore my uterus and did damage to my bladder that now needs to be repaired. When I had not heard from him or gotten anything about the results, I called his office 4 times to schedule an appointment. On the 5th call, someone called me back, but when I called a 6th time and no one answered, I refused to pay the copay and wrote on it I wasn't paying for being butchered and getting no results back from the procedure. His partner's, Dr. Moore, secretary called and said I didn't have to pay the bill, and that Dr. Shaw had been absent for two weeks and they didn't know where he was. I could call the Nevada Medical Board and see if they knew where he was. So if you run into a Dr. Lawrence Shaw anywhere, RUN, don't walk away.

The office staff is incompetent. They charged me the wrong amount for a missed appointment and then had the nerve to charge me the rest 7 months later and threatened to turn me over to collects.

I waited over an hour to be seen by the doctor.

The answering service answered the phone at all times, even when the office was open and no one ever called back when messages were left. When I asked the doctor how to reach him if I had a question or emergency, he told me to just head to the hospital.

The dr told me he would do whatever I wanted and did not provide medical opinions when I asked for them.

My files were lost repeatedly and the nurses/doctors always asked me what brought me in to the office, even when I was visibly pregnant.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

This was the absolute worst experience that I have ever had with any doctor that I have ever see in Nevada. The office staff is horrible at calling to reschedule appts. TWICE I showed up to the office only to be told "Oh, someone was supposed to call you...the doctor will be out today." Another time, "Oh, someone was supposed to call you, that practioner no longer works here, sorry." I WOULDN'T recommend this practice even to a stanger on the street and I will do my best to spead the word about the horrible service.

I will NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. She is cold hearted and money hungry. I had been a patient of hers since she was with Dr. Miller's office. Although her office staff is horrible, I never had a problem until my 2nd pregnancy. I was inbetween jobs, therefore no insurance coverage through my employer. I called to see if she could see me for my 1st visit w/o ins, until I can get my own private ins to cover the pregnancy. They said "yes" and told me the visit would cost xx amount of dollars, so I made an appt. About a wk prior to my appt, I started bleeding heavily and cramping. I called her office and they told me to come in that day. When I arrived at the office, I was asked for my ins card. I explained my situation again and the receptionist told me to have a seat. About 20 mins later, the nurse called my name and approached me, telling me that the only way the dr will see me is if I pay for the routine visits, labor, and delivery up front since I have no ins. I explained my situation AGAIN and stated that I was in the process of getting private ins. I asked if she could please just see me for this one visit because I wasn't even sure if I was having a miscarriage which would defeat the purpose of paying for all of the pregnancy expenses. If the baby was fine, I will pay everything in full if need be. The nurse went back and forth like a messenger between me and Dr. Moore for about 15 mins with every response as "no". I finally told the nurse that I want to speak to the dr in private, as all of my medical issue was being aired about in front of a full waiting room of people which is breaking HIPAA laws. After asking the dr, she came back saying she will not talk to me unless I pay the full amount. By this time I was in tears and frustrated. The nurse was very rude and talked to me as if I was a low life b/c I had no ins. I asked one last question: if I pay the full amount to be seen (approx $5000) and I lose the baby, will they refund me my money, minus the cost of this office visit? Once again - NO. This was their explanation: when they bill ins companies for a pregnancy, they bill the entire fee up front regardless if the pregnancy goes to full term or not. They do not refund money back to the ins companies, therefore they do not refund money back to patients either. I told her that was ins fraud for services not rendered, she didn't seem to care at all. Furious, I left and never went back. Thankfully, a friend of mine referred me to her dr and he saw me the following day. Unfortunately I was carrying twins and lost one. I decided to write a letter to Dr. Moore and send it certified/signature required, to let her know what I thought about her unprofessionalism and work ethics. Needless to say, she refused to sign it and it came back to me. So I wrote a nice letter to the medical board about my situation. Several months later, I get a letter in the mail from Dr. Moore stating that she refuses to be my doctor anymore. HA! Is she kidding?! I called her office and asked to leave a msg for her, stating that I got her letter and I didn't refuse it, like she did mine, and she is insane if she thinks I will ever see her or recommend her to anyone again! I also stated that I've found a much more competant dr who has professionalism and truely cares about the well being of his patients regardless if they have ins or not! The receptionist hung up on me. As long as I live in Vegas I will NEVER recommend this cold hearted lady, who calls herself a "doctor", to anyone. She is a money hungry, careless woman!

One of the best experiences I have had since moving to Las Vegas, Dr. Moore & Dr. Shaw are the best. I was a bit hesitiant to see Dr. shaw as he is a male Dr but in the end he was very gentle and very sweet. I have also dealt with Dr. Moore and her staff and they are awesome.... I have been with them now for three years, recently she had a turn over of new staff Thank GOD! The new staff is very friendly, very nice, and very organized. The phlebotomist Lenny, is awesome too.....I can't say enough my late appts when everyone is going home they wait patiently on me to finish my exam and serve me with a smile. I love it! Dr. Langdon is gone and Dr. Shaw is new, I will continue to refer my family and friends too...

I saw doctor Moore when I was pregnant with my first child. Well, I should re-state that I never saw her only her nurse assistant until my husband called up and complained. Early in the pregnancy Dr. Moore told me the baby had Trisomy 18 and recommended an Amniocentisis. This is an EXTREMELY RARE disorder and fatal in a baby. She sent me to a specialist who preformed the amnio and told me right away it was unecessary as he could see from the ultrasound the baby did not have any deformities. The test came back negative so this was the first trauma she put us through unneccesarily. When I started experiencing pain a month later I called several times and told this was normal. I was certain I had an infection. After several more phone calls and an exam I was told I had a urinary infection. WRONG. I ended up going into labor a day later at 24 weeks. I had bacterial vaginosis that had entered the babys sac after the amnio. Dr. Moore came to see me in the hospital on her way to dinner and told me coldly " you will lose the baby in 10 hours". WRONG again. My daughter was born premature as I laid in the hospital a WEEK with no other visit from her. My daughter was born and DIED. Because of this womens negligence I have lived with this pain and heartache of losing my baby girl everyday since. Although I have gone on to have two living children, thanks to Desert Perinatal I will never forgive this cold hearted person for the lose I did not have to suffer because she was too lazy or too busy.

I went to Dr. Moore for the past 7 years. She was the only doctor who would accept new patients at a time when all the OBGYN's were leaving this state. I was young and luckily didn't need to worry about pregnancy at this time, however, I'm now having second thoughts about this practice. The past few years I have had really poor experiences with her office staff. They rarely answer their office phone, even during office hours. They are not friendly in the least bit, they are just there to do a job and nothing more than that. I have always had to wait at least an hour and a half to see the dr. for PAP tests. She was always extremely professional, courteous, and seems like a good person. However, she was supposed to deliver my mother-in-law's baby (very high risk pregnancy) and something went unnoticed because tests weren't ordered properly. My mother-in-law ended up having a 1lb 7oz baby that was not delivered by Dr. Moore because she had to refer to a specialist (which I'm glad she did). Also, I had some test results come in that weren't correct, I was retested by my regular physician. I still haven't been able to determine if this was due to their mistake on my paperwork or if they normally come in false positives... because they don't answer their phone calls. I'm just not willing to put up with the hassle anymore.

This is the best obgyn clinic i have ever been too. My husband and i were so picky and went through so many to pick the perfect and most caring ob. The nurses are just so wonderful! they always return my phone calls (and i call alot) with answers ready to roll. when i had 2 emergencies happen after hours, Dr. Moore stayed with me on the phone and helped me through my bleeding. She guided me and told me what to do. Then she told me to come in first thing tomorrow morning. Which most clinics wont do. they just send you to emergency room. but my situation was not a miscarriage therefore, i was glad she didn't tell me that was my only option. Their staff is so wonderful. and the office is so clean!! its a brand new office. and they follow all cleanliness rules. the best experience i have ever had. plan on having all my children there... i hope you do your homework on picking the perfect place. i did mine, and it was all worth it!

My mom had been a patient of Moore's for several years. When I went in as a new patient I was treated horribly by her staff who told me I came in excessively late, when in fact I was 9 mins late trying to find her new office. Later they began yelling at me and lecturing me for not knowing my "lab" information, the information the receptionist had but refused to tell me. When I complained to the Dr. she sided with the staff and told me to leave an that she would not see me as a patient. I am not sure what I did wrong. Her staff lied to the Dr. and told her I came in 45 mins late, by the time I left it was not even 40 mins past my appointment time.
I still cant believe the treatment I received there. I have never been so disrespected by a Dr. or their office. Not only that but my moms last few appointments she had to wait upwards of 2 1/2 hours before being seen.

I was a patient of Dr. Moore's for 2 years. Dr. Moore seemed very professional and she was a nice woman. A new doctor also joined her staff-Dr.Langdon-LOVE this lady! However, the rest of the staff is HORRIBLE! The woman in the front are VERY unprofessional and extremely rude! I call and never get a call back or answers to my simple questions. I am changing doctors because of this reason. Do NOT go to this Office!

I was a patient of Dr. Moore and while her office staff is very kind, her office seems to schedule every patient for an induction or C-section. That's fine if that's the type of birth you want but for me, it was just not the way to go.
