If anyone out there is considering a new doctor or changing doctors.

Please, please do not go to Dr. Nieman- she smiles all the time and pretends to be nice but underneath it all she has a darker side.

I have been diagnosed with some really major illnesses, and I questioned her to see if my new problems maybe tied into my other conditions.Basically, I found that she does not like to work with the patient to find out what is wrong with you, it is a take it or leave it deal- if you disagree with any of her findings then that makes her angry and ready to write unsavory things on medical reports.. Due to being put on Soonercare, I was stuck with her for a whole nightmarish year. During that time she completely wreaked my chances for Disability (that year), she said that I was depressed (she made me that way) and demanded me to go see a psychiarist, she tried to disprove all conditions that I had already been diagnosed with by other local doctors who are far more experienced and qualified then she is. She would write in medical reports to Disability office that I was not actively taking the medication that she prescribed- when I was and it changed almost every time I saw her. She told me I had asthma- in her office and gave me some sample inhalers to use, but on medical report it said that I only had mild breathing difficulties and not asthma.

The secretaries are not much better.... I never was rude or impatient with them before then, but for some reason when I asked to have Dr Nieman to fill out a form for a upcoming Disability hearing 2 years ago, they started getting very rude & snippy with me. I switched to Dr Emde and the secretaries informed me that office policy stated that I could not do that so they droppred me as a patient.???? I was never told about that policy and that was just an excuse to get rid of me. I demanded my records and they called me with some mumbo jumbo saying that they would cost $ 40.00

To this day I still have not gotten those medical records/ reports yet... I could write so much more that this office has put me through, but I will stop there.

All I can say is that none of them realize that they did me a favor. In fact it probably saved my life getting away from that office. I have a much better doctor now, who is readily concerned with my health and just for the record- 2 other doctors, both attested to the fact of my Disability and severe conditions, which I would have never have gotten, no thanks to her. All I would have had with her is a bed in Vinita with my name on it.
