.

I decided to go here with my first pregnancy because my best friend had gone to Dr Hooi and Overall I liked her, she had asked me to write a birth plan and I did but when It came time to have the baby, I ended up needing to be induced because I had PUPPS the pregnancy rash and I wasn't going to take steroids to relieve the itch, anyway, I wanted a completely natural birth, no one told me the pitocin they use to start contractions makes the contractions longer and stronger than they would be with no pitocin, I ended up needing the epidural at 5 1/2 cm's dilated, I had stated to her face that I didn't want to be cut, but what did she do? She waited till after I tore to cut me. The recovery from that was so long, I had my baby ten months ago and I am still not healed all the way. Unfortunately Medicaid doesn't cover midwives, and the only hospital based midwives no longer accept medicaid. So yay. I am so excited because I am pregnant again and Now I feel SOL. What do you do? Go back to the place you feel didn't listen to you or go somewhere else and try to trust someone else you have never met...Needless to say I haven't decided if Its worth the stress going back...
