Dr. Borras was my doctor as a child. I remember him so well because of his humanism and desire to help his patients. He always became friends with his patients. I always thought and still believe that he is a very well trained doctor. I trust him.
I am now a physician myself. I think he ecouraged me to seek out my own education. I was a very poor child in South-Central Los Angeles, on Welfare, food stamps, etc. With is support and encouragement I finally made it to the Ivy Leagues and now am a physician. He was one of my role models. I feel a great debt of gratitude to him.
The one thing I do clearly remember is that during a very frightening asthma attack I expressed to Dr. Borras my fear. His answer was "...don't worry, there is always enough oxygen for little children to breathe." This had an unbelievably calming effect on me because I completely believed him since I had such a great respect for him. No one ever since has ever been able to inspire confidence in me like he did in that instance.

Dr. Borras has been my family doctor since I was a kid, I am now 40 years old and he continues to be my doctor.
He is a great guy and most of all a Humanist.

My entire family goes to Dr. Borras, we have been going to him for over 20 years, and we everyone gets treated with care and understanding. Dr. Borras' office is located in one of the largest uninsured demographic areas of Los Angeles, and his waiting room is always full of people from all walks of life, who don't have insurance and need to see a doctor. His fees are quite reasonable and he also takes some insurances. If all doctor's were like him, God Bless Him!

This is a great physician! My husband does not have health insurance and so went to Dr Borras and was treated with a wonderful quality of care. The area in which the doctor serves is for underpriviledged, so if you don't mind going to McArthur Park area, this physician is a good resource
