.

I have been a patient of Dr. Roche for several years. I was always happy with his service, however, the service at the Maple Road location of Family Care Physicians is lacking to say the least. Every time I call to schedule an appointment, I am greeted with, "Family Care Physicians, can you hold?" Without a response I am thrust into a three minute hold only to be broken by the same person with the same greeting (as if I haven't been on hold and this is my first call in) essentially telling me to hold longer. This goes on for about ten minutes. Upon arriving at my appointment, promptly, I spend at least forty five minutes in the waiting room, every time. To me once might be considered a mistake, several times, I consider that an office malfunction. I had myself believing this was just an example of "the failing health care system" I hear about all over the news. But alas! With maturity (or new reasons for new doctors) I have discovered that we as patients do not have to put up with poor service from health care providers! There are several offices within this area, our beloved Western New York, that are very much worth your time and hard earned money. Dr. Gosy's office on Youngs and Suburban Medical Group on North Forest to name a couple. All of my visits to these offices have been nothing short of pleasant. The staff at both are very friendly, and the appointment scheduling is very organized. I never wait more than five minutes after my appointment time to see the doctor. I am writing this in hopes that patients will realize, much as I did, that they do not have to stand for poor customer service at doctor's offices. With the amount of time and money that you and your insurance company are shelling out, it is worth it to find a location that treats their patients as they like to be treated. Would your doctor be willing to wait forty five minutes for you? Would he or she stand for being on hold for over ten minutes to schedule an appointment with you? I think not! And to that I say you shouldn't either. We are lucky enough to live in an area with options. Take advantage!

.

These doctors are a nice group of general practitioners. Dr. Roche is a very kind and considerate man with a vast knowledge of medicine. He has been practicing for over 20 years and has accumulated the knowledge to back up the much experience. He has kept up with modern medicine as well. The prices are per insurance.

PROS: Timely Appointments
CONS: Wait Once in Office
