Dr. Miknovksy provided the best service I ever got from any internal medicine doctor. He was very thorough with discussing all my problems, and provided me with solutions for all of them. I read the previous review and I wonder - how a person with a "broken back" managed to come to a Dr.'s office? This does not sound right. That's why I did not rely too much on that opinion when chose Dr. Miknovsky. I absolutely do not regret my choice and will recommend him to my friends.

Dr. Miknowski is a pleasant person, but each time I or my husband go to see him, we ask ourselves, "Is he really a doctor?" He doesn't seem to give us much in the way of actual medical advice or care. When I've gone to him for sleep problems, he's prescribed narcotics (which I didn't take - it seemed like overkill - but then I was left with no solution to the problem). When I fell and broke my back 5 months ago, he said, "Of course you are in pain, you fell down the stairs and you're a big girl. [Yep, he really said that.] If you still have pain in 6 or 8 weeks, call me." I found his response quite dismissive. So meanwhile I've gotten no treatment for the broken back and residual issues, and feel I must seek out any care without his assistance. I am also in search of a new PCP.

I've also had billing headaches from his office; the staff could not be more indifferent about correcting mistakes. Calling and talking with them does not help. I have to put things in writing to get them to correct their errors.
