After waiting the 6 weeks it took to actually get an appointment with Dr. Black, I arrived at the office on the website 10 minutes before my appointment. I had spoken with office staff twice when setting up the appt. for daily headaches and frequent migraines. Not once did they give me their address or think to tell me that there are multiple offices for Rocky Mountain Neurological Associates. When I arrived, I was told that I was at the wrong location and would have to drive halfway across the valley. I did, and arrived at the actual office location at 9:15 for a 9:00 appointment. The office staff told me I would not be able to see the dr. because I was 15 minutes late, even though the other office had told them I was coming, and even though they were the ones who had failed to provide me with the correct address. I insisted that I see the dr., or talk with the office manager, and was told again that I would need to reschedule, even though it was only 15 minutes into an appointment that was supposed to last 45 minutes. At the thought of living through daily headaches and migraines for another month, and the wasted babysitter hours I had just used up, I began to cry. At that point, another office staffer told me that I was disturbing the other patients (the waiting room was empty) and would need to leave. Ironically, the experience left me with a migraine. Medicine is a business, and I won't spend a dime on Dr. Evan Black.
