I started out thinking I had found the best dentist in BA. I sent all my friends and family to him even. I had several teeth removed and 2 partials made, upper and lower. My mouth was so small they had to have special trays made to make the impressions. The first go around I received 2 conventional partials made out of a hard material. The upper fit fine but the lower I couldn't wear for longer than a few minutes before it caused enough pain to have to remove it. Even after taking it back for refitting I still couldn't use the lower one. So a year or two later I again had another partial made because I had seen an ad in the office about a new soft partial. Well again they had to make special trays because they threw away the special trays they had made for me the first time. And again the new soft partial was as painful as the first. I never could wear either lower prtial and they couldn't adjust either one so I could. The first go around cost around 5000.00 and the second around 1000.00. I called them and said I would pay the 1000.00 dollar bill but I wasn't happy because this was the second time and I still couldn't wear either one of them. They told me to bring the small plastic partial back but by this time it had been so long I couldn't find it because I NEVER WORE IT. The next time I needed a dentist I called to make an appointment and they refused to see me because I had an outstanding balance. Bad business in my opinion. I paid once and almost twice for some useless dental work. And I have two complaints with the upper partial they made that I could wear. It recently has had the teeth come loose and fall out. And the dentist made the color so dingy that when I had my teeth whitened (which I also paid them for) the partial was never going to match. How about a little foresight when you're providing dental care that the patient might want to whiten their teeth later...a few shades whiter on the partial would have been much better.
