Dr. Fine performed surgery on my son's ear. The surgery went well. However, the surgery could have been much less involved, had Dr. Fine put on a pair of sterile gloves and TOUCHED his ear. He did all the examinations visually and moved my child's earlobe with a pen instead of feeling what the problem was. The problem turned out to be a keloid that had to be removed. When my son first went to the office, the keloid was small and by looking at it, Dr. Fine diagnosed an infection that could be drained. We went back when the site continued to grow and he felt it was still an infection. My son told him there was a hard knot in there and it was not responding to the soaks, draining or medication. A kid in my son's class mentioned that it might be a keloid and when my son told the doctor that, he insisted that it was an infection. When we returned he finally moved my son's ear about with a pen and said, "oh, it's a keloid." By this time the keloid was so large that it had involved his entire earlobe and he lost most of his earlobe when it had to removed surgically. Dr. Fine's bedside manner is abrupt, uncaring and brusque. He seems uncaring and refuses to touch his patients. My son was very upset with the ordeal and was very relieved never to have to see Dr. Fine again.

$2500,
he will make you sign an agreement because he is forced to call this procedure a "Surgery" by insurance company.
then an endoscopy will be put into your nose 1 inch. or more, then done! then you will see $2500 billed to your insurance company, imagine how much at least you will have to pay while other doctor says;

ENT - Otorhinolaryngology 2008 Prices

Nasal Endoscopy - Total Price $105

The waiting time in this clinic is always too long >45 mintues. you may make an 8:00 AM (or earlist time) appointment but when you are there for half hour, they will tell you doctor has not come yet.

and for any surgery he asks you to do, you must get a 2nd opion to make sure if you really NEED one for another huge bill....

Basically NOT RECOMMENDED!

Gross malpractic* complaint under NRS 633.041 for Nevada. A complaint is currently being written and the physician neglected financial duties concerning the patient and insurance company in question, which was not in the welfare of the patient. Sorry doctor Fine, peope can find ways to spread the word ;]

Dr. Fine performed surgery on my 18 month old son, who was born 'tongue tied'. It is SO stressful to have your little one undergo any kind of surgery, let alone one that involves general anesthetic. Dr. Fine was so compassionate and caring. He took a lot of time to explain the entire procedure to us and was wonderful with my little guy. Thank you, Dr. Fine!

I have been seeing Dr. Fine for the past 6 months. I ended up having to have sinus surgery. I kinda just found him through a phone book. He is supposed to be a very good doctor according to Life Magazine. To me he doesn't seem to take much time to really explain things to me. It always seem like he is rushed and doesn't give hardly much time to ask any questions, it like I have to ask him when he is almost out the door after he is done looking at you. I had surgery and the next week after he didn't even tell me what I should or shouldn't be doing or medicines are ok and not ok to take. When he is done treating me I think I will be looking for a new Ent. Also a few time when I had an appt I had to wait 2 hours which is ridiculous.
