We had a terrible experience with this dentist's office. Not only did we never even get to meet Foutch himself, but his staff was rude. They make it regular business practice to cancel your appointment without notification if you miss their appointment verification call. If you don't want to waste your valuable time, don't bother with this dentist. It's not like he cares enough about you to even introduce himself, after all. I lost out on a day of work to take my kids to the dentist, only to find out that they'd given the appointment away simply because I missed the verification telephone call. So, not only did I lose my wages that day, but my kids didn't even get their teeth cleaned. I will never return to this dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Foutch for over 14 years and have never had any problems. Along with his staff, he has always been very friendly and courteous. I drive over 30 miles out of my way to see him and would not think of going to another dentist!

I took my son to Dr. Foutch and was shocked to how impatient he was with him. My son age 5, was getting his first
filling and Dr. Foutch seemed very upset to how uncomfortable my son was. He told my son firmly that it was time to grow up and act like a man, among saying other things to him. I continued to console my son, as Dr. Foutch never said one kind word during my son's filling. I held it together, knowing that if I said anything I would be asked to leave the room and no way was I leaving that room. If I was sitting there witnessing this dentist acting this way, what would he do or say to my son while I was not in there with him. Dr. Foutch finished and left without saying a word to me. I asked his assistant where his office was and went and told him how unhappy I was with his treatment of my son. Of course he did not care and stated that my son needed to learn to sit still. My son is ADHD which I alerted them on his papers, and given the circumstances, how could he lay perfectly still. My son only moaned and raised up his hand in discomfort, without any sympathy from this dentist. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone, especially children. I filed a complaint with the state which will remain on record. If more people report him, the state may see that there is a problem with this dentist mistreating his young patients and more will be done. I thought his staff was wonderful, however I wander how anyone could work for a man who treats children this way...guilty by association in my opinion. We need a new local dentist who has the patience with our children that they truly deserve.

I would not recommend Foutch for your small children. I have a four year old who was getting a filling, and he started screaming because it was hurting him and when he reach up to his mouth Foutch slapped his hand out of the way. Giving that my son needed to keep his hands out of the dentists way, Foutch should have stopped at the first scream of pain and not wait until he was finished. He is definately not child friendly. Unless you are an adult with a tolerence for pain, I suggest a different dentist. My husband has also been to him for a filling, which fell out in less than 4 months. So he doesnt do good work either. The thing is, that he is the only one who accepts the medical card for preschoolers in the area,(that I have been able to find).
