I cannot say enough about Aspen physical therapy. Fred and his staff are caring, compassionate and professional. My care has always been personalized. I first met Fred in 1997. Since then I have had many orthopedic surgeries that have been successfully rehabilitated at Aspen. I really enjoy working with the young staff at Aspen. The atmosphere there is open and full of life which gets me motivated. There is always some good conversation going on or a movie playing on the two large screens on the wall. I highly recommend Aspen physical therapy.

Pros: Aspen PT and staff. None better

Cons: none

My doctor recommended that I seek PT when I was experiencing some neck pain from using a computer. After calling Aspen, I was assured that my insurance company would be covering all treatment. I should have checked with my insurance company, because after everything was said and done I received a bill from Aspen for almost $300. Even though I felt much better after the 1st visit, Aspen kept insisting that I come back for more treatment. Even when I still thought the treatment was covered by my insurance company I felt like Aspen was really trying to 'milk it' to get more money from my insurance company. Furthermore, the treatments that they gave me I could have learned from a personal trainer or off of the internet. While the staff was very nice, they were not very professional at all. There was a lot of personal conversations between the staff, a lot of loud sports talk, and it basically seemed like a college fraternity continued. Of the 8 or so times I went there I never saw a woman working there, which also made me uncomfortable. Basically, this is a good ol' boys establishment for people who are from Mesa for genarations back....so if you are part of that community or you're a high school kid with a sports injury, then this would probably be the place for you. If not, I'd find some place more professional.

As a retired investigator for an east valley police dept I read with interest the review given by Frisk who indicated that Aspen PT was below average. I went to Aspen on an industrial claim after I was injuredt by a motor vehicle. Not only was Fred and his staff concerned but took more than ample time to discuss my condition and certain fears I had concerning my care. I didnt think to ask the ages of his employees but I do remember that almost all were going to a college or university to futher their education. In fact most wanted to become Physical therapists themselves and were very much intune with the proper excersises I needed to progress. I was always treated with the upmost respect and all questions were answered in a timely fashion. The facility itself was clean and modern. I have to mention that I was a Patient for over 8 months and in none of the time I was there did I find anything like Frisk. In my opinion I beleive Frisk has an alternatine motive. While cities cannot dictate care to employees I know from personal witness that quite a few members from my old dept and the city as well continue to use Aspen PT for the care of its employees.
I recomend Aspen PT Highly and wish Fred Treece all my best.

As a customer service worker in one of the countries greatest and most well known retail companies, I would have to say that that Fred Treece and his fabulous employees greatly rival our policy on customer service. As a patient who was seen for a troublsome ankle injury, I marvaled at the awesome service I recived each and everytime I was seen. Not only was I well cared for but I could genuinely tell that they wanted me to be better. At the end of my treatment I also recieved follow up treatment exercises that I continue to do daily! I have recommened Aspen to my co-workers, family, friends, neighbors, and casual acquaintenances. I give Fred and his fantastic employees a Huge Thumbs Up!!

I read the other review, and couldn't have a more different opinion. I met with Fred personally and he spent about 45 minutes with me on my first visit. I had almost too much information. As for the high school aged techs, well I guess if you are too old to recognize what youth really is then.......

I would absolutely recommend this place as the best physical therapy in Mesa. My back has never been better. Thanks Fred and Aspen

Pros: Very friendly, didn't ever have to wait longer than 5 min for my appointment

Had a great experience. Good staff, great service. Questions answered. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the experience. I had knee surgery and was up and running on the treadmill within 2 weeks. Constantly attended by staff, never left alone to work out. I will tell everyone in town about the good work of Aspen Physical Therapy. Hope not to have to see you again, but if it is necessary, I will be back!

I have had physical therapy before and this place has to be the worst. You are treated by a physical therapist for about 5 minutes and then high school aged physical therapy tech for about 45 minutes. I never knew if I was doing my exercises right because the therapist was never around for me to ask any questions. I feel that this facility is more concerned about quantity of patients, rather than the quality of patient care given. I would recommend going somewhere else.
