My family stuck with Dr. Elling for over ten years, even when we moved to North Austin, we drove all the way to San Antonio for our checkups and treatment. The customer service at this office has become ABSOLUTELY horrible! He has NO regard for his long time patients and I am disgusted and disappointed in what has happened to his practice. This past week I sent my adult daughter for a minor procedure that is mostly covered by insurance and he SENT HER away because I forgot to give her the $65 co-pay. He has been our family dentist for YEARS and he has never gone unpaid. Because she could not reach me by phone for the credit card number, so he REFUSED to take care of a chipped tooth! Really, so much for loyalty...we are finding a Dentist who has some sort of respect for and appreciation for patient loyalty! I do NOT recommend this selfish office for treatment for anyone who expects to be treated like a person, not a walking income!

I was not carrying a dental insurance and this was making me hard to find dentist with reasonable price. I was referred to them by my friend. The doctor was very experienced with dental problems and gave me medicines that cured my pain within few days. Even the charges were too less as compared with others.

I am hooked on fiesta dental. For my root canal the copay on the same insurance was 1/4 of what it would have been at two other places. Also, the place got me in fast and took care of me quick. Now, compared to other people I have a high pain tolerance but the pain is minimal - espescially with a root canal and the service is great with good quality. I had a root canal done there about 4 years ago, also. I would recommend Fiesta Dental to anyone who doesn't want to get stiffed by a huge corporate dentists or just someone who likes good service.

All of the staff were friendly before and during my appointment. My problems came toward the end of my filling when one of the doctor's instruments cut the inside of my month requiring stitches. Although the doctor was very apologetic and I believe it was indeed a freak accident, I was irked by the fact that I was promptly asked for my copay after getting a pain medication prescription. I paid, but was irritated they weren't a little more sympathetic. When I received feeling back in my cheek, the pain was horrible so I got the pain medication prescription filled and do to my "loopiness" and sporatic pain was even out of work for a day. I didn't make trouble or threaten to recover my lost wages. What did I get for my trouble...a bill a month later for $1 - they miscalculated my copay. Imagine how furious I was for getting a bill for little more than the postage it costed to send it me when I endured that much pain (not to mention the resulting tissue scarring) and was very inconvienenced. I'll be using someone else from now on.
