We had one appointment here and will never go back. We arrived for our 12:45 appointment on 08/06/13 (When my son was barely 3 days old) by 12:30 so that we could get checked in, fill out paperwork etc. However when we arrived there was a note on the door that said 'Back at 1:00'. This was very upsetting and stressful to both me, my husband, and the two other new mothers that were waiting outside in the rain with their newborn children. I tried to give the nurses the benefit of the doubt thinking 'maybe there was an emergency or something'. However at 1:07, several nurses returned, strolling through the parking lot, fast food and drinks in hand, in no rush whatsoever.

Our actual appointment was very rushed and felt extremely impersonal.

There were no apologies and no one tried to make up for any inconvenience. They have no grace period when you are late for your appointment, but have no problems if their staff is almost 30 minutes late for it. No one cared when we left, no one asked for a follow up visit. I have no problem paying professionals to do their jobs, however as you can see in our experience no one at Laurel Pediatrics is professional in the least.

We also have a nice $150 bill to pay now, and they are not at all sympathetic to our experience and will not budge on the amount charged for their "professional services."

Had a great time with the Dr. Lazor, however I found it disconcerning that a member of her staff was discussing patient information to someone in line at Giant. it would be ok I guess if names werent involved. And it was a billing person telling this. I am not sure I will be going back to Dr. Lazors office because of lack of confidentiality.

We switched pediatricians to Doctor Lazor after our previous kept telling me that our son was not sick. We would take him in and they would say "its just the sniffles" then a few days later he would end up in the ER with croup, or bronchitis, or SWINE FLU! Then he kept running a fever and the pediatrician told me over and over again that kids in daycare run fevers alot. Finally we went to Doctor Lazor (on the ER doc's recommendation) and at his 1st visit she said there is something wrong with his sinuses, she had alot of tests run on him and it turned out his sinuses are completly blocked and badly infected, he is now scheduled for surgery! Dr. Lazor listened to me and my instincts and ran the proper tests and now we know what is wrong with my baby...... great Doctor!

Dr. Lazor is absolutely the best pediatrician. We have been with her for over 22 years - I can't say enough wonderful things about her and her office staff. When our daughter has been sick, she is seen the same day. I have never been given the impression that I was an overprotective mom by Dr. Lazor - a story I hear much too often from other parents with other pediatricians. I have referred everyone I know to Dr. Lazor and will continue to do so. She is a caring, kind, wonderful, attentive doctor and truly cares for her patients and their parents.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Lazor and her staff! Being first time parents, we have had many questions, fears, and concerns, and they have always taken the time to listen and guide us through many sleepless nights, and nerve wracking days... =)Our son's first pediatrician and his staff, were horrible. The even went as far to call me an 'over protective mom', just because I knew when something was wrong, and cared enough to have him checked out. We're so thankful for Dr. Lazor and her staff. They are very quick to return calls, and schedule sick appointments! what makes it even better is my son loves going to see them, even blows them kisses!!! Definitely trustworthy people!!!

I had a horrible experience at another larger practice in Forest Hill, and I have been so pleased with Dr. Lazor, Dr. Jennifer, and everyone I have come into contact with at this practice. They are friendly, thorough, and truly compassionate people. I cannot say enough about this practice.

We have tried several different doctors for our daughters and Dr. Lazor is the absolute best one we have found! We have now been patients of hers for almost 3 years and wouldn't change a thing!

My kids love going there b/c the staff is so nice and friendly. The whole office staff makes you feel welcome and cared for.

Our former pediatrician in Forest Hill was terrible. She had 3 and 4 rooms of patients/clients at the same time and would keep running back and forth between all the rooms. That is probably one of the reasons my daughter was overdosed with adult flu shots at 17 months old by our former pediatrician. She received 3 in 8 weeks and 2 of the 3 were adult doses. She hasn't been the same since.

Dr. Lazor is the total opposite of most pediatricians. Dr. Lazor takes her time and listens to you. She is highly competent as is her staff. If my daughter has a fever she is seen the same day.
I would recommend Dr. Lazor to anyone.

We began using Dr Lazor after leaving a larger practice in town, and she has been everything and more in what I wanted and expect of a pediatrician. Her staff is WONDERFUL (this makes a huge difference!) and she goes above and beyond to make sure our son's needs were addressed and treated. You are NOT a number here. I would never go anywhere else.

PROS: Excellent care, open/friendly staff, needs are met when needed
CONS: NONE!!
