Dr. Lloyd's office was always at least a 45 minute wait in the waiting room alone anytime I was there. The nurses once discussed how his daughter had used the office computer while eating chicken wings and got sauce all over the keyboard. They joke about how she is now "grounded" from the computer...for a few weeks. Personally that made me uncomfortable.
They also had a cat running around the "nurses station" and exam rooms. While doing the paper work for my file, the cat came up on the desk and chewed the corners of the paper.
Waiting in an exam room was as good as being in his office with other patients. The exam room door was always closed, but his office door never was, and he speaks very loudly. I unwillingly know far too much personal information about his other patients.
The reason the wait was always so long is because while he is seeing a patient he will take phone calls from other patients. In my personal opinion he spoke to patients on the phone the same way drug dealers have spoken to me in the past.
Some of his patients seemed to like him and think very highly of him. But most feel like he has a "God complex".
The doctor I see now has a waiting room full of ex Lloyd patients. We share war stories (in the only 20minute wait) in her waiting room. When I had my first appointment with her she asked what happened with my old doctor. As soon as I said, "Well, Dr. Lloyd just," she cut me off and said she's heard of him. I didn't have to say anything more.
