.

Our 1st appt we were early, the dr (Costello) himself was almost an hour late and then proceded to lecture us about how our appt was a contract. If we respected his time he'd respect ours.

Our 2nd appt was with his assoc Don Van Hooff. He was also late by almost half an hour despite having no other patients in the office. He was very nervous, scattered and had to leave the room repeatedly for things he forgot. Did not seem to understand any of his assoc's notes and did not listen to our concerns. He preceded to charge $180 session fee to my debit card without checking to verify that we owed only a $20 copay.

After 2 weeks I called my bank and had them lift a "hold" that had been placed for that $180 and thought it was fixed. On Dec 30 $180 was charged again. I talked to the office mngr Rich. He called back a few days later to tell me that all appts had been cancelled due to weather and he had not been into the office. He said he would rectify it asap. He offered several excuses as to why such a mistake was made.

He called again to tell me that he would take care of it at our appt today. He was not there. Dr Van Hooff was again very scattered, patronizing and did not listen to our concerns. He contradicted himself many times. First he wanted to increase the dosage of a certain med, then he didn't. He then prescribed a dosage that "does not exist" and then decided to "keep things as they are" despite our repeatedly voiced concerns that our son's condition was worsening.

He then made several snide remarks about our not being able to afford services. He told me I did not have to pay for our appt today because he understood they "supposedly owed us money". I paid our $20 copay in cash and demanded a receipt, not wanting to confuse them anymore than they all ready are as to what they owe us.

We are still out $180, that they *know* they withdrew in error over a month ago and have not rectified the situation.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!
