The other review on this site is totally at odds with my experience. As a nursing faculty member - I always told the students that there was no such thing as a stupid question, but of course there are stupid questions and I'm sure the previous reviewer asked a stupid question. Dr. Glazer has an amazing capacity to make you think that he has all of the time in the world to discuss your concerns. I had a cervical discectomy and fusion before my 2 day anterior - posterior lumbar fusion could be done. ALL of my questions were answered and I went into each of the surgeries with total confidence in the outcome. There are not enough positive ways to say that I was so very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Glazer by my physician in RI. He and Jeff and everyone at BIDMC treated me with respect and caring concern. Dr. Glazer's office staff is also fantastic. I waited a bit for my initial visit, but that's because Dr. Glazer spent more than an hour with me at that visit discussing my concerns. Trust me, nurses know when they are receive excellent care, and I did!

No doubt Dr. Glazer is a smart and competent bone technician, but his bedside manner leaves much to be desired, especially if you present with symptoms or ask questions outside this narrow wheelhouse. In my case I have a complex of conditions and not only was he not interested in my questions about the synergy of these he got quietly hostile when I asked too many questions that didn't have straightforward answers, and accused me of being "inflammatory", quit making eye contact, stuck his hand out and said "good bye ma'am" to the wall as he walked out. Kind of a jerk.
