Several of TKO's comments are worth reviewing. Upon arriving late for his 2nd visit, he said the 1st massage helped a lot. TKO had no body work for over 2 years, was quite active and had a surgical history. These can make a person quite stiff, so any corrective work can initally be uncomfortable. His job, residence, health history and ice skating hobby were dicussed. The surgeon reference refers to "2 Failed Shoulder Surgeries"
The "warehouse enviroments' has a large exercise area, 5 treatment rooms, Exam/X-Ray room and waitng room. The "cut rate bust enhancers" are sold out. It was part of our Nutritional Saver's Club that well over 100 people/year appreciate quality discounted nutritional products and education. Chiropractors receive 255 hours of Nutrtional Training. MD's receive 12 hours. (1996 U of Mn Medical School, NW Health Sciences University.
For 25 years,I have been a credentialed provider for all the major Insurance Co's in the Twin Cities. I have served as a Mn State board Examiner, Mn Chiropractic Assoc officer. For numerous Professional and Amatuer Events, I have served as Sports Dr. I wish TKO well.

Sincerely.

Pros: 25 years exp, service orientated, personable,

.

This clinic charges more than DOUBLE and sometimes almost TRIPLE the fees of other chiropractors for the same treatments.

The doctor was rude, and yelled at me when I questioned the fees. He also blatantly refused to release a copy of my records and xrays to me when I requested me.

Steer clear of this office!!!

Suffering injuries from a Motor Vehicle Accident, I went to MD??s/PT??s for 1 year without relief. Thank God for Advanced Health PA. Dr Hebeisen was a good listener, thorough and innovative. Specific Chiropractic, Amy??s skillful therapeutic massage and gentle spirit, very beneficial exercises and nutritional supplements made all the difference. I almost completely recovered, encouraged and have learned valuable skills. I recommend Advanced Health PA above any healing clinic.

Pros: Best Chiropractor!, Best Massage in the World

I would not go to Gregg Hebeisen for acupuncture. He caused me severe pain while using electric stimulation with acupuncture needles. My back totally seized up and I was in worse shape for over a week after my one and only visit to him. I would stay away from him for acupuncture. I don't think he knows what he is doing.

Advanced health was an excellent chiropractic experience. The environment is warm and personal. All my experiences with Mr. Hebeisen and his staff have been positive. He showed concern for my overall health and has always been very polite and professional. Advanced Health has got me back to good physical conditions on numerous occasions. A number of times throughout the past eight years I?ve injured my lower back. On these occasions I was nearly unable to function; my mobility was completely gone and I was in constant pain. Every time I visited Advanced Health my mobility was restored and my pain was reduced rapidly. Subsequent visits always yielded improved mobility and reduced pain. I recommend this business highly.

Assurred Care is a Hennepin County cash discount program. It is for people who supposely make more money than Minnesota Medical Assistance allows. There are only 2 other participating clinics in the Northern Mpls area/suburbs. Of the 1that would talk with us, quoted fees were within $5 - 20 of our total charges. The patient was explained services/fees and requested X-Rays. She signed that she understood this.
The patient had severe problems nearly 1 year old. By the 3rd office visit, she indicated feeling significant improvement. She arrived late for this visit and again began rehearsing financial problems. This infringes on other people's healing experience.
Regarding her record demand. The clinic is aware of the law. Her demand was not in writing and was instant. Our inital notes and billing is handwritten. It takes some time to assemble. A subsequent clinic will request them if needed.
Any time a Dr needs to discuss fee details with a patient, it is a potential problem. It wou;d be wise for Clinic staff to do this. The Dr is precieved as rich and well off. Patient's remember they're the one who is sick, inconvenienced and having to pay for it! Emotions may be high and memory selective.
This experience is very sad. Both the patient and the Dr began to witness the "Chiropractic Miracle". But money got in the way. Both the parties lost. The patient hires expert care and deserves to be treated courteously. the Dr. would like to be treated as something other than a untimely commodity purchase and ge paid for their dedication/effort. Steps have been taken to better address this situation.
I am a credentialed Provider for Blue Cross, Medica, Health Partners, Preferred One etc. I have been practicing/meeting the public for 25 years. I have served as an officer for the Minnesota Chirxopractic Assoc. examiner for the Mn State Board testing, sports dr of Mn Star of North Games, International Special Olympics, World Championships of Weight Lifting, US National of Tae Kwon Doe etc

Pros: 25 years of excellent service, Reasonable Fees

.

Practioner was not personble at all. He didn't say what or why he was doing what he was doing. He would say, "Okay, now come with me," and by the time I got, picked up my belongings to walk with him, he was gone and I would have no idea which room he had gone into. This happened several times. The service was painful and I will not be going back.

Pros: Close to home

Cons: Uncomfortable environment

.

Didn't like the environment, with the old bottles of cut-priced bust enhancers in the waiting room, and the bare/warehouse type of environment. The practitioner seemed very arrogant and distant. If I want that, I can go talk to a surgeon. The adjustment was very painful and there was no apparent concern for my wellbeing during the treatment, rather a detached sense of clinical interest. Not happy at all with the experience. The therapeutic massage received at the location was the only partially-redeeming element of my two visits there. Not a place I'd go to again or recommend.
