When I learned that my 3 year old daughter required extensive dental work I was TERRIFIED. We initially sought out Dr. Behling just as a second opinion. After only a few minutes with him, Dr. Behling's expertise and competancy was evident. He took time to carefully review my daughter's dental history and needs as well as to answer my questions. Dr. Behling also took time to outline treatment options and outcomes. He was gentle toward my daughter and presented the situation for what is genuinely was, without any drama or scare tactics. I left our initial appointment 100% certain that Dr. Behling was the dentist for us! Additionally, as my interactions with all of Dr. Behling's staff increased, everyone, from the office to hygienists, proved to be extremely caring, kind, and tireless in their efforts to accommodate my daughter and I. Dr. Behling ultimately performed my daughter's dental work in a hospital setting, using general anesthesia. He and his surgical team took phenominal care of my daughter and returned her to me safe and sound, with a healthy mouth!

My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist. My 5 yr old recently had to have two teeth pulled. I was a nervous wreck, but the Dr.'s calm demeanor was soothing to both me and my son. He loved picking out a movie to watch during the procedure and what "flavor" laughing gas he got. When it came time for the Novocaine shot the Dr. told him it was her finger nail wiggling his tooth and he didn't even flinch. The staff could not have been friendlier. He got a special container to hold his teeth in until the tooth fairy came and his choice of a prize at the end. When he was done, he wanted to stay longer to play video games! My kids and I could not be happier with the facilities, level of professionalism and friendliness at this practice. When your kids ask if they can go to the dentist you know you're onto something great!!! I can't say enough good things about this practice. I highly recommend it to families.

I was pleased with this place at first - they have a toy castle for the kids to play in while they wait, DVD players in the rooms and different ways to amuse the kids while they are having their teeth cleaned. But when we had to go to my 4 year olds cavity filled, it was just not handled well. They gave her laughing gas but it was still not an easy procedure. She was upset and they had to hold her down at times which really upset me. Then they made us wait after the procedure for the gas to wear off. When it wore off, my child did not react well - she was screaming and crying and acting totally out of character. I could barely get her in her carseat and was actually scared because I've never seen her act like that. I went back into the office and was told that it was 'normal' for her to act like that when the drug was wearing off - I was NEVER told that beforehand. The receptionists also tried to rush me out of the place because I guess they didn't want the other children seeing my child so upset - well guess what, I didn't want to see her that upset either but had no idea the gas would do that to her and wasn't told in advance! I was very upset with how it was handled and am looking for a new dentist now!
