I have had the unfortunate experience of "sticking" to the same place for years. Despite the inappropriate care, poor treatment and wrong diagnosis, I continued on.
I once was treated for a sinus infection with no symptoms, no xrays, no signs of sinus drainage but that was the reason for my cough.

I would like to say that Greg Frane is as great as the others state but having been a patient for over 20 years and have him not "care to return phone calls" or to "talk to a patient who desperately needed to speak with him" - does not make him a kind, caring, MD. It is all about money and how much NWFP can bring in - not about the patient and the patient's life. That was disappointing to me as a patient that I thought he truly cared about and wanted to be involved with the treatment of said patient -- that is NOT what his role is -- it is all about money and what can be brought into NWFP Rogers. When you go in to see him -- how many "minutes" do you get with him -- note he is on a clock and is required by his contract with NWFP to see so many patients per day - that means each patient is divided into minutes - how many does each patient get - note how fast he is in and out of the room. You will note that it is only "minutes" - again it is not about the patient but about the "all mighty dollar" - and to me that is very, very sad. Unfortunately it is the nature of the beast - when in the hospital, the NWFP physicians that are on call do not even know your name when they come into your room at North Memorial -- IF they come into your room at all. They spend seconds with you, not even really examining you, or anything and then get paid big $$ for that visit. You see there are many avenues for them to increase the $$ of their organization. So, you might be caught right now in the "rosy glasses" stage, but some day those glasses are going to become clear - so be prepared to see and experience the worst with Greg and NWFP.
Now the front desk staff and the scheduling person, are the BEST, friendly, helpful, caring and care whether you live or die -- not all of the staff is that way. Knowing that they are just very small fish in the NWFP sea, you know that their impact to the organization does not matter -- again what matters to the organization of NWFP is the bottom line - and I know that the front desk and scheduling staff cannot impact that in the way the physicians of NWFP do. If you were to base NWFP on just the staff, the rating would be 5 stars - but because I am rating this on my entire experience of over 20 years of being a patient, it is one star or less.

What a great team! Everyone seems to really care about the patient, the docs and nurses for sure; but the techs and receptionist go out of their way. It??s a small town atmosphere at NWFP, real people taking care of the sick.

its a great group of Dr's that work out in Rogers. One of whom has now left to raise her family. Greg Fran that works out there is a really nice guy who goes out of his way to help figure out what is wrong instead of just throwing a pill at you. Since it is such a small office everyone knows you and you get treated like family.
