I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Zafran and Christine!!! They are wonderful, very caring, friendly, funny and make patients feel very comfortable and welcome. I was recommended to Dr. Zafran by a co-worker after sharing with her the bad experience I was having at my previous OBGYN. I was almost 4 months pregnant but I was unhappy and nervous about switching. I couldn't thank her enough for the recommendation. I now recommend everyone to Dr. Zafran.

I met Christine yesterday for a prenatal care appointment and I was amazed with the quality of care she provided. She is very caring, listen to all my concerns and I feel like I am in a good hands. I have a bad experience with a previous ob gyn, but after meeting her I knew deep in my heart that my baby and I are under excellent care with Christine Hackshaw. I recommend her if you are Looking for the best quality and a caring Doctor.

I was seen there once and I loved it. I seen Nicole the LPN and she was great but the office staff is very rude I have been trying to have a Mirena IUD implanted for 2 months now and have not any success with it. When I was there I was told oh no problem as soon as you have your period call us and we will get you right in to have it done so I thought great but it doesn't work that way. In October I called the day I had it which was a Monday and they scheduled my appointment for Wednesday so I was excited then they called back 20 minutes later and said we don't have them in stock and we won't have any until next week. I said to the girl on the phone well what am I supposed to do my period will be gone by then and she said oh well I guess you have to wait until next month with an attitude so I said alright, what was I supposed to say. Now one month later I finally have my period thank goodness but I called today and said ok I have my period when can I come in and again the girl says with an attitude oh we don't have those in stock until next month. So here I am again not knowing what to do so I said do you know of any other place that does them and she says no but I can transfer you to the triage nurse who I have experience with that does not call you back. I mean it is not like it is only a day or two it is a month and they have no consideration and could care less.

I wish I would have learned my lesson with my first birth in 1996. Dr. Amy C. neglected to circumcise my son, and since she did more than one sonogram and told us it was a girl, we were unprepared for the birth of a boy. We wanted him circumcised, and immediately after delivery, I asked her about it. She said the pediatrician does that. To make a long story short, she was wrong, and our son never did get the procedure, because if it's not done at birth, insurance won't cover it so you must pay cash, and it involves a hospital stay.

This office never arranged for an epidural for me, despite the fact that not only was the paperwork filed out and turned in, but I also followed up on it. I wound up going through 12 hours of labor, 3 hours of hard labor, with an anesthesiologist who's priority was the C-section in the next room. In order to even GET his limited services, I had to come up with $600 dollars CASH at 2AM on a Friday night. Since ATMs will only spit out $200 at a time, I had to call two friends, have them go get the cash, and then drive over to the hospital right away, at 3 AM on a Friday night. For this, I got intermittent pain relief- the whole birth experience was extremely painful, and again, not what I'd planned.

In 2000, in my second pregnancy, I had the classic symptoms of gestational diabetes, so I asked for the test for it. My blood sugar swings were horrific; by the fourth month I'd put on 40 lbs, and I was feeling absolutely terrible, I thought I was going to die. I had the test, and they told me I was fine, test was normal. Years later, after finally stabilizing my blood sugar, I asked to see those results, and sure enough, I'd been dealing with untreated gestational diabetes during the whole 9 months. They'd assured me I was fine that whole time. I was never notified of the glucose tolerance results, and I was not followed up on it either- no Dr. or nurse ever asked how I was coping. They just stuck the results in a file and never looked again. When I asked how to cope with the fainting spells, dizziness, and extreme hunger, they told me to eat more carbs. Pasta, rice, and sandwiches. I swear, I am not making this up. I started out at 110, and I packed on 85 lbs for that pregnancy. Despite my concerns, they never questioned it.

NOW, it turns out, I've been diagnosed with Hepatitis C, something I've apparently had since childhood. My internist assures me that the OBGYN would have tested for it. Considering the history I've had with them, I knew I needed to check just to make sure, so I called this fine office, and was told they only had records for the last 4 years; apparently everything else was destroyed in a hurricane. For *gosh sakes*, how secure are these records that they were destroyed? Did my confidential information blow around Coral Springs?!

The point here is, I know they didn't test for it because my son also has this disease that should have been screened for. They should have screened me, and they should have screened him. He was born with jaundice, and apparently I had Hepatitis C, but still he was never tested for hepatitis.

This is a slip-shod, shoddy office, and with their complete reckless disregard for their patients, they have cost me dearly-emotionally, in time, health, tears and money. This office has hit me in every way possible, and I'm still finding out how bad they are, 12 years later.

This was my gyno for the past 10 years and decided to keep them as my OB when I got pregnant. Well, for my first pregnancy, this office made it a complete nightmare. I was in the ER twice and no emergency phone calls made to the office were returned. I was sick a few weeks later with bronchitis, called to verify my medications in hand to see if they were ok to take and it took them 4 days to give me a call back after 3 phone calls made into the office and promises of returned phone calls which were not made in a very timely manner. You can never talk to a nurse and even though their recording says, "if you leave a message before 3pm, you will get a phone call back before the end of the day" and time and time again, this was NOT the case. I called for serious matters and apparently bleeding during your first trimester is not important either. The front desk women are also very rude and when confronted Dr. Zafran about the situations, he couldn't answer my concerns and changed the subject. Dr. Zafran is a great doctor, its too bad you have to deal with the rest of the staff 90% of the time and always wonder how important your emergency is to get a phone call returned to possibly prevent a trip to the ER. I wondered if anyone would show up the day I go into labor at this point. This became too frustrating for me and I pulled my records at 28 weeks pregnant and found a much better office.

I was a patient with Dr. Puckett for a very brief period of time. I ended up miscarrying and had to have surgery at a local facility (which was FANTASTIC). Although Dr. Puckett's nurse is friendly and helpful I always have an issue with the front desk. Typically not face-to-face, they're normallly quite patient and nice. Over the phone though I have spoken to several very rude, short & curt staff. They seem very bothered by picking up the phone and answering a question. I have not had a good experience with the front office staff, but otherwise feel that it is an okay dr.'s office to use. Not very much personal attention and very quick, somewhat rushed, in & out sessions with the Doctor.

We have had many problems before and I've been through literally tens of gynecologists. Finally we've got a baby and everything went so smoothly during my pregnancy - thanks to God and patience and good advises of Dr. Zafran. My baby was more than 9 pounds so I've delivered by c-section. Now my baby is 20 month - there is even no slightest shadow of the scar!

I have been a patient there for over 10 years. Dr. Zafran is so kind and caring. Kathy the midwife, delivered two of my children. She is absolutely the best. The staff is wonderful. It is the only doctors office I would ever say is "worth the wait". I have recommended SO many people over the years. They are truly the best in every respect. Would go anywhere else........Wish there were more doctors out there like them.

I have been a patient of this practice for several years. They are suportive and sensitive to the needs of their pregnant patients. The midwife on staff, Kathy Fair, is like an angel from heaven. She delivered both of my children and will deliver any more I may have down the road. The ultra-sound tech is gentle, respectful and kind - the nurses are sensitive and sweet - the front office staff are terrific - and my favorite doctor, Dr. Zafran is just terrific - this is a wonderful group of professionals!

PROS: all the staff are wonderful
CONS: none

This practice is beyond wonderful. We had 2 miscarriages before having our son and the doctors we saw were caring, compassionate and skilled. When we delivered our son, we were supposed to have a waterbirth with Kathy Fair, an incredible midwife. Do to his size, we had to deliver by c-section. This was unexpected and a bit disappointing. However, Kathy and Dr. Harris were wonderful. Dr. Harris even commented that he was so glad he got to deliver our son because we saw him with our first miscarriage and he flet like he came full circle with us. Not many doctors are like that and I'm glad I found a practice tht makes an effort to hire the best doctors in all respects.
