In this fast-paced world, we sometimes fail to acknowledge or give praise to those individuals who are truly exceptional in their fields. Dr. Giannotto is an individual worthy of considerable praise in his profession.
My first visit to Dr. Giannotto??s office was through the purchase of a Groupon promotion for Botox/Juviderm injections. This was not my first encounter with either of these procedures. I have done this on a number of occasions in the past but this is the first time I ever walked out of a doctor??s office without a bruise. In my estimation, Dr. Giannotto has set a standard of excellence in both his professional approach and pleasant personality. And it was all pain-free.
Thank you, Doctor Giannotto!
Great, Natural, Results
I began to experience hair loss in the early 90's, during this initial phase my receding hairline did not affect me as much as it did my wife. My business partner at the time also seemed to pay closer attention, finding enjoyment in pointing it out to me and others from time to time, this however did annoy me. I recall the first time going along with my wife's suggestion to fix my hairline, we had gone to a hair restoration facility that offered a sophisticated hair weave/toupee' glued to one's scalp that required monthly servicing. The idea turned me off, I left this facility convinced balding was a better avenue. The simple idea of waking up and needing to perform a tune-up on my hair rug did not fly. During the same period, an attorney that my company required the services of, far too frequently, was having the "plug grafting treatment" on his receding hairline. The sight of seeing several hundred of round plugs with several hair follicles popping from his head looked very unpleasing to the eye - maybe it was because his donor area was lacking density. Over several years, I witnessed his continued dedication to the cause and listened to his displeasure with the escalating costs associated with maintaining his hair. Furthermore, the transplanted hair never looked natural, and so to say the least I was dissuaded in considering this method.
Fifteen years later, and after seeing my hairline recede by 50%, my own hair situation began to annoy me. In the summer of 2009, I had frequently heard radio commercials played over the airwaves here in Northern Virginia of a new system of hair restoration. At first, I did not believe them, I assumed they were of the plug treatment, but I thought wrong. One day, I responded to a radio commercial and made an appointment with The Giannotto Clinic. Contemplating, to be a no show for my free consultation, thinking this might be another arm twisting, better sign-up now or pay higher later sales pitch. I convinced myself to go through with the late afternoon visit. Right away, I was impressed she was considerate and provided all my questions with detailed yet quick answers helping to put my skepticism at bay. I was shown many before and after photos some looked too good to believe. When asked why some did not look as good of others her answer was honest and without hesitation, that some donors have thicker hair than others and to achieve a thicker look a patient may require additional procedures. From there my hair density was ascertained and I was told up to seven procedures could be performed. The closing moment came, and I was asked if I wanted to go forward with the restoration. Instinctively, I responded by asking for references which were provided and went home to sleep on it. I never called the references as I was so impressed with the photographs shown to me. After the initial consultation, I knew The Giannotto Clinic and Dr. Giannotto would be restoring my hairline. A month later, I received a follow-up call from the consultant and I decided to go through with the procedure in part the office accommodated my desire to have the procedure performed during a period where I could have several days to stay at home after having the procedure.
Since then, I have had a second procedure as I was very happy with the results of my first. I am told how much younger I look by friends and family. I only wish my wife could have seen the results. She passed away a few years ago, so I imagine this could all be part of a mid-life crisis but it has certainly been an uplifting experience for the mind. I found Dr. Giannotto to know his craft quite well, he is beyond personable, very professional and runs a business operation staffed with individuals that make the process all the more enjoyable. Since my second transplant I am even more pleased and will likely have one final procedure performed before I get to old. I look at pictures of myself prior to the transplant and have absolutely no regrets, I look that much better.
My name is Marlene and I would like to share my hair loss with you. I am 67 years old and had been losing my hair for quite some time. It was to the point that my crown was completely bald. My hair stylist finally recommended that i see someone for this. I met with Dr.Giannotto at HRG which is now Giannotto Clinic. They recomended a hair transplant of a 1000 grafts. I was skeptical but am I ever glad i did it. I had surgery 5 years ago and my hair is still growing and I love it. I followed through the laser treatments as well afterwards and still go in periodically for more. The doctor was very efficient. Any time I had a question or concern i was able to reach him and he was able to put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr.Giannotto and his staff. From beginning to end the service has been excellent and i am more than delighted that they were able to help me achieve my confidence again.
I think HRG is a fraud. They told me on my initial visit that i would need only one treatment. The day of the surgery the doctor told me as i sat in the chair that i would need more than one session. I see this as a " Bait and Switch ". I wrote the medical board of virginia since I was so mad. I did have the surgery three years ago and it is not close to what I was told it would be. I would do anything possible to persuade anyone not to go there.
