HEAT Bootcamp is excellent. I highly recommend it. I have been a member of HEAT for four months. As part of a long term weight loss program, I had spent 3 years running and cycling. I regularly had injuries from overuse, etc. I joined HEAT as a way to continue my fitness journey and try to build a better base of core strength. Cody Butler and HEAT Bootcamp have completely delivered.

Since joining camp, I??ve significantly improved my strength and flexibility. The most significant achievement is that I no longer have pain in my hips.

There are three key distinctions between HEAT and other bootcamps available in Austin. First, Cody is an amazing trainer and a licensed therapist. This doesn??t mean that he??s looking to pull you in for some ??couch time?. He is a master motivator and builds his workouts to keep you engaged. I??ve never done the same workout twice. In the beginning, he found ways to keep me engaged by modifying exercises that were too difficult for me. Over a few weeks, I was able to better to keep up with the group and he pushed me harder. I??ve paid 4x as much for personal training and Cody does a better job of customizing workouts despite this being a group environment! Second, HEAT has an AMAZING facility. Based out of RunTex on South First, the indoor/outdoor studio is awesome. It is a dedicated space that Cody designed for his vision of the perfect workout environment. He has all the necessary equipment (weights, pull-up racks, kettle bells, tires for flipping, tires for pulling, stability balls, spin bikes, etc). The build out is superb. He has a huge projection screen, theater lighting (generally set to fit the theme of the day), and it is AIR CONDITIONED. Third, HEAT isn??t one of those month long bootcamps where you work your booty off and then go back to chomping potato chips on the couch. It??s a year round club. It??s a great/friendly group who love to sweat and have fun. I know people who have been with HEAT for years. Fourth, HEAT is a locally owned and operated business. It isn??t part of a national chain. I??m an Austinite and I support local business when possible. Cody has customized workouts that are based on his clients needs. During Halloween, HEAT decorated the studio to look like a haunted house and did a workout using only a pumpkin. How??s that for Keeping Austin Weird???

H.E.A.T. Boot Camp saved my life. Since joining over a year ago, I have lost over 50 pounds and witnessed a transformation in my body that I never thought possible. When I first started I could barely run a mile and thought weight lifting was code for torture. Now I love going for long runs and I actually look forward to my weight training! The workouts in camp change constantly and remain challenging even a year later. Cody Butler is the best trainer I have worked with. He has been my life coach and support system since starting. Cody focuses on helping each camper become the best healthy version of themselves, inspiring and motivating us everyday. He has helped me reclaim control over my health and really grow as a person. I just finished up my third session of boot camp with H.E.A.T. and it has been an awesome experience! Cody Butler is awesome, and the workouts are great! I am so thankful that I found this boot camp because it has been a very impactful experience in my life. I feel as though I'm getting stronger and stronger with every week that passes, and I feel so great! H.E.A.T. is definitely worth giving a try!

I love H.E.A.T !!! I have been a part of heat bootcamp for about a year now and I am addicted to the high energy, super motivating classes HEAT offers. I have dropped pounds and put on muscle. I signed up for HEAT because I have done it all, running, pilates, yoga, weight lifting, kickboxing, step classes, you name it. But a few months after our wedding, my husband and I found that we couldn't find any motivation to stay in shape. So I checked out HEAT. Cody was incredibly welcoming and helpful in our initial email exchanges. I was still a bit hesitant at first because it seemed expensive, but when I checked out personal training sessions, they were insanely expensive. And, from what I had heard and read, Cody??s classes were far better than any personal training session you can get a local gym. And after my first four week session with HEAT, I can GUARANTEE these classes are better than a personal training session. You have the group setting, which is incredibly motivating and fun, and you are saving an enormous amount of money on effective and difficult, yet achievable workouts. Cody has the ability to train an entire group of people, but make you feel as if you??re his only client. You are never bored in his classes because he always changes it up. I can??t believe how much I have been challenged and motivated. My husband and I never dreamed we would do more than one session, but when the time came there was no question that we would keep doing this. I have been working out for years and this class still kicked my butt (and that??s an understatement at best). But don??t be scared if you have never seen the inside of a gym, from what I have seen he can turn a fitness newbie into a fitness guru. I would recommend this class to anyone, beginners and experts alike.

Cody is one of the best trainers I have had a chance to work with. I played division 1 college tennis, and he still is at the very top of my list of people i have had work me out. Before Heat Bootcamp I would go running but i was not able to push myself the way Cody and Sonya do. They make you want to work hard while still having fun. I am more toned and in better cardio shape then I have been since high school. I am so glad I found this camp!

I'm a 45 years old and for the past year and a half I've been working out with HEAT exclusively.

After 20 years of going to the gym I found my body wasn't responding the way it use to. I was in a rut. Cody and HEAT changed that. The workouts are constantly challenging. They provide me with opportunities to try techniques I would never attempt on my own, including boxing and triathlon training. Both of which I enjoy way more than I would have guessed.

Cody and Sonya make it seem easy. I am dripping sweat by the time the hour is up, but I am ready for more. But my favorite part of boot camp is the team activity on Saturdays. So far, I've done Hooverball, Kayak water polo and Cardio Tennis. All of them were challenging and far too short. There is also a nutritional component to this class, which I haven't found in other classes. Cody and team are helping me figure out how to fuel my body since I recently found out I am gluten intolerant. I would definitely recommend this boot camp. It is a killer workout but really keeps it interesting.

I had never partcipated in a bootcamp before, I had worked with trainers at Gold's but never anything like bootcamp. I can tell you that in one month of bootcamp I felt in better shape than I have ever been in. The trainers really enjoy what they are doing and really have a genuine interest in your progress. I've worked with trainers who just watch the clock so they can take your money, but at H.E.A.T., the trainers challenge you and make you push your limits. STAY COOL THIS SUMMER. We are the only boot camp in Austin to provide am and pm camps INSIDE of our state of the art studio with Auditorium shores just 75 yards away. We offer passes rather than 4 or 6 week cycles so you can START AT ANYTIME. Passes allow you to pick the camp you want to attend during the week. Our Schedule posts which body parts we will target so you always receive a balanced workout whether you attend 2 or 6 camps a week. This is not your Typical boot camp, as we limit the camp size, provide more types of equipment than any other camp, and through the use of our sound system and 10 ft drop down screen the workouts are about as HIGH energy as they come.
