.

Complete lack of professional conduct by Dr. Martinson. After moving to the area and having no local dentist, Dr. Martinson's office quickly fit me in their schedule. However, with Dr. Martinson's "comprehensive dentistry" approach she was unwilling to replace the said crown without first completing a $395 (not covered by insurance) full dental model and photographs. Her initial examination also included that my bite was incorrect and that I would need extensive reconstructive and/or orthodontic work although has not been recommended in the past.
Although I had communicated my decision not to pursue the crown repair (and modeling) , Dr. Martinson visited during my cleaning with the hygienist to further emphasis the need for modeling. When I declined again saying that I was satisfied with my bite and not planning to pursue corrections other than the crown work, Dr. Martinson said "fine, but I don't know where you got your dental degree." This is the least professional conduct that I have ever experienced in a medical office. I would not recommend Dr. Martinson to anyone.
