Douglas K. Holmes, MD

My son has been a patient of Dr. Holmes for over 10 years. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes past his scheduled appointment time. He and his staff are friendly and always prompt throughout the appointment. Dr. Holmes always takes the time to answer any questions my son has and uses visuals to help explain his answers. I'm surprised that others have said that he doesn't spend any time with them and doesn't listen. I have experienced the exact opposite and would highly recommend him to family and friends. I have always felt that he takes our concerns seriously and takes however much time we need to make sure we understand the issues and answers all of our questions.

There are 2 members in my family that are hearing impaired (my son and my wife) and both see Dr. Holmes.

Dr. Holmes discovered a large blockage in my sons ear canal that a doctor from another practice totally missed. The other doctor told us that my sons hearing was getting worse and he'd need new hearing aids.

Today I was able to reschedule an appointment to a slot a week earlier that better fit our schedule.

Thank you Dr. Holmes and Staff for being there!

dr holmes recommended my sinus surgery after taking an xray and showing me exactly what was happening and why surgery would help. he didn't rush and was very thorough. the surgery was not painful and recovery was quick. most importantly, my chronic sinus infections (treated unsuccessfully by numerous antibiotics prescribed by my gp) are gone permanently.

i trust his expertise enough that he will be placing tubes in my twins' ears next week (finally...after long bouts of ear infections treated w/ months of antibiotics by their pediatricians. i wish i'd taken them to him last winter.).

the single negative review seems bizarre to me. naturally the first course of treatment would be antibiotics then if that's ineffective, surgery. the 'rare form of migraine' could very well have been caused, or exacerbated, by sinus blockage treatable by surgery.

ent's find ent issues and treat them. neurologists find migraines and prescribe pain killers. there are just different ways to boil an egg.

Dr. Holmes is friendly and professional, with a no-nonsense and to the point approach. He did a fabulous job on my son's tonsillectomy and his nursing staff was available and friendly to me each time I called with questions during his recovery. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Doc. Holmes and his staff are truly wonderful people. If it was not for all their help and Doc. Holmes preforming the need surgery, I son could have suffered permanent damage. They are truly lifesavers. Very wonderful people. And Very Highly Recommended!!!!

My daughter started going here when she was 18 mths old and having bad ear infections. He saw her in the office on a Wednesday and had her scheduled for surgery on that Saturday. I was very impressed with the fact they could get her in so quick. She hasn't had any issues since.

Dr. Holmes and his staff are very caring and helpful.

I highly recommend this office.
