.

I called the contact number on the form and Debra answered the call. I gave her my name and appointment date and waited for her to find the appointment. She found it and said, ??Oh, you are an IME.? I responded offended, ??No, I think that I am a person first.? She then asked what I needed. I told her I had some questions. Debra cut me off and said that I was supposed to call MCN and not them. I asked her why their information was supplied with the instructions. She then said that there was a bad connection, it must have been on her end because I had no interference at all, and she hung up.

I called the office back and she told me that I was being difficult and that she would call MCN and tell them that I was ??campaigning against the IME.? Exasperated, I asked to leave a message with the doctor, she hung up. I called back and Debra scolded me and said that she didn??t have to deal with people like me. I told her that I was not just a Workmens comp and I didn??t appreciate her demeanor. I told her that I would call MSC myself as well as the better Business Bureau. Her response was quite curt as she said, ??I don??t care what you do, we won??t see you here.? With that, the line went dead again.

I called back six times exactly to have the line pick up and hang up each attempt. These records are being supplied by my cell phone carrier and will be available within the next two (2) business days. I finally had the line pick up on the seventh attempt to have another female voice answer the phone. I asked if I could leave a message for the doctor. The young lady asked me if I was Sarah. I said yes, I was. I explained that I had some questions about the appointment that was not answered in the letter and that I couldn??t get anywhere with the staff or management department with my efforts. She didn??t ask for my information to return my inquiry and I felt that her tone and speed through the message indicated that she wasn??t taking the message at all.

I have explained my experience with the Department of Labor and Industries and that I have no business being in a place that treats injured workers like a burden and appear delighted in demonstrating dominance and self entitlement over patients. I have no intentions of traveling across the state to place myself or my next sixty years of health in the hands of people that don??t even offer common courtesy
