I have been seeing Dr. Liu for the past 3 years, and I have overall very excellent things to say about him and his work. During appointments, he spends at least 15 minutes with me, often more, and asks questions to understand my situation and what I am going through. He gives a bit of good advice as well to help keep me on track. When I need to see him for an appointment for an emergency, he is often able to see me the same day or the next time he is in the office. His secretary is very helpful in making calls to me the day before.

Also, he is very knowledgeable about current medications, and has switched me to more modern medications to help my condition. When I lost health insurance (aged out of parent's health plan), he told me to go on Americhoice (now United HealthCare Common Plan) so that I could continue to see him. I had to stop seeing him for a while unfortunately, and see inferior hospital psychiatrists, but then when I got Americhoice, I could see Dr. Liu again.
