I would not recommend Dr. Borick to anyone. I told him I also had neck pain but he insisted on getting one surgery fixed before looking at my neck. I had to wait over 45 minutes to see him. The office was not helpful either. I called them about a question I had and they assured me they would call me back the same day and they never called me back to this day!! (It's been well over 2 months)

My mother broke her hip and Dr. Borick saw her in the ER and surgically fixed it. He was very caring and provided her excellent treatment. His compassion for his patients was evident in how he treated my mom. She is back walking with no problems. All of our follow-up appointments with him were a pleasure. I highly recommend him as a surgeon!

I can't believe that the same Dr. Borick that saw the other reviewer was the same Dr. Borick that saw me. He had great bedside manor and was very helpful. He took the time to thoroughly explain to me about my condition. He even fully reviewed my MRI studies with me. I don't know many Drs. that would spend that much time with a patient. I was very pleased. (sometimes even Drs. can have a bad day!)

Not as lucky with Dr.Borick. I had a sprained ankle and on 6 week follow up he asked me why I was there. Funny since he asked me to follow up with him. Still having a lot of pain and therapy was helping but he thought it would just heel over time. He told me it was up to me if I wanted to come back or not and continue physical therapy. Dr. Borick seemed judgemental and burned out! be aware. He obvious didn't want to see me through any pain and swelling management. I am glad the other two reviews are good. I saw him twice. He is burned on his job and it shows.

I have been in the care of the doctors and therapists at Orthopaedic Associates on and off for the past 2-1/2 years, first for a fractured wrist and again for a cartilage tear in my knee. It didn't matter that I'm not a sports goddess, although that is their specialty (they are the official physicians for our local AAA baseball team). They take care of ALL their patients with the same great care.

I needed extra therapy to break up the scar tissue in my wrist after I broke it, and they stayed with me until I regained full use of my wrist, without pain.On the same vein, I was told all my options with the tear in my knee, up to and including orthoscopic surgery, but the recommendation was to try physical therapy first and see if that was enough. It was; I am very happy to report my knee is pain-free without surgery!

This kind of care is never cheap, and I can't begin to estimate what it would have cost me if I hadn't had insurance. I can tell you that they worked professionally with my insurance to ensure that I had the least out-of-pocket expense possible.

If you need an orthopedic surgeon, I highly recommend that you put yourself in these people's capable hands. They are on the cutting edge of sports medicine and physical therapy, but they won't ignore you if you need help with something less technical. They care, and it shows!

My son broke his leg in March. The break was not severe, but did require casting by an orthopedist. We were sent to this practice the next day (couldn't be cast in the er). I was very impressed. There isn't really 'kid friendly' decor, but that doesn't matter because the people there are friendly to kids. The nurses, doctors, and x-ray techs were all so nice to us and very patient with a hurting 2 yr. old! The practice is clean and very professional as well. I recommend them!!
