STAY AWAY! I had the misfortune of ending up in Huntington Hospital emergency room with half my pinky chewed off by a machine. I had no choice but to have her do my surgery.- wrapping the skin left on my pinky over the exposed end. I had insurance with Blue Cross, but she is suing me for $25,000. - AFTER Blue cross paid her. This is for 3 hours in surgery and 2 doctor visits. SHE IS A VERY DANGEROUS DISHONEST PERSON. She lives in here office, keeps the doors to the clinic downstairs locked at all times, and has a big dumb goon for an assistant. You would think that there are people out to get her. Now I understand why.

Is there an option for negative 5 stars? Listen, STAY AWAY, stay as far away as possible. Jeanette Martello is a viperous, angry, vengeful, sub-human that should be ashamed of herself. Someone dear to me ended up in the emergency room and was unlucky enough to be treated by this "Dr." My friend didn't have insurance at the time and even though she has paid Dr. Jeannette Martello in full plus interest within 3 years, the good Dr. has attempted to sue my friend twice (over a dispute as to how much interest was owed, we are talking about a couple hundred dollars), when my friend writes or calls to try to find out what the heck i going on, Martello refuses my friends phone calls and letters. Martello has harassed my friend as much as she possibly can using whatever legal accusations she can cobble together. This has been going on for FOUR YEARS. And now Dr. Martello is trying to force the courts to seize my friends HOUSE over a $400.00 dispute. Petty, malevolent, horrible, human being. TRUE STORY. THIS WOMAN IS TRYING TO TAKE AWAY MY FRIENDS HOME AWAY FROM HER AND HER FAMILY OVER $400.00. Completely obsessive, bizarre, buffoonery. Really, stay away, there are so many options in Los Angeles, why choose someone with a history of such base behavior.

My name is Kathy. I am a 65 year old aesthetician. I was born in Budapest, Hungary seven months before World War II. I have always wanted to look my best. Everything was going fine until I reached menopause at age 47. My weight started to creep up from hormone replacement. Every morning when I looked at myself in the mirror without my clothes on, I hated what I saw. The fat on my tummy was thick underneath the skin. The disgusting extra skin hung over itself like wrinkled material when I bent over and this reminded me of my poor mother. I also had extra loose skin on my back underneath my bra line. Even though I worked out at the gym, I was disgusted with myself and felt completely helpless. I started to think more and more about having a tummy tuck and some liposuction. I knew that I couldn??t afford these surgeries, but I stashed some cash away in an envelope every few weeks. I saved this money just in case I decided to have the surgeries performed someday.
When I went to meet Dr. Martello in consultation, I was very impressed with her. She was very honest and knowledgeable. She was not at all pompous like the other male doctors were. I felt comfortable with her. After reading her list of credentials, I was even more impressed.
I decided to have Dr. Martello perform a tummy tuck and liposuction on me. I was especially fearful of the general anesthesia. For support, my plastic surgeon held my hand while I was put to sleep. The day after my surgery, at the doctor??s office, when Dr. Martello removed the binder that I wore around my belly, I was so surprised at how slim I had become! Dr. Martello took measurements in her office at 5 weeks after surgery. My waist went down from 42 inches to 33 inches!
After my recovery, it was so nice to wear form-fitting clothes again. The old pants just didn??t fit me anymore. They were very, very baggy. All the skirts with fixed beltlines were also loose on me. I had to buy totally new skirts. I enjoyed my new, trim and ??girlish? look very much. I got compliments from many people. I fulfilled my old dream. And it was all well worth it! Thank you Dr. Martello and to all your caring staff!

I am a 27 year-old married nurse with two sons, ages 2 and 4. After having two babies, I hated the fact that my stomach looked horrible, covered with stretch marks on saggy, ugly skin. After breast feeding two sons, my breasts were droopy, saggy and looked like deflated balloons. My breasts looked like those of a Grandmother! I didn??t feel good about the way I looked AT ALL. After two pregnancies, I was left with a body that seemed much older than my years. It was hard to feel good about myself and to be with my husband when I wasn??t happy and comfortable in my own skin. Nothing seemed to help the sagging tummy and breasts. The skin had been stretched out like a rubber band and it would never return to ??normal.?
I really like Dr. Martello. She was honest with me and I could be open with her. It was important to me that I had found a qualified, Board Certified plastic surgeon that I felt comfortable with. I trust Dr. Martello completely. She held my hand when I went to sleep for surgery. I just remember feeling at ease. After the tummy tuck, I was in a little bit of pain, but it mostly felt tight in the belly area. I had my first postoperative appointment the next day, which is when I saw my tummy for the first time after surgery, without the dressings and binder. I was amazed at how small I was. MY STOMACH WAS FLATTER THAN EVER! Five weeks after my tummy tuck and liposuction, I had my breast augmentation and breast lift. At 6 weeks after surgery, I had decreased by 7 inches around my waist!
My experience with plastic surgery changed my life for the better, and that of my family??s. I am happier, and therefore, a better Mom, wife and person. My body changed physically, but so did my attitude. I am so much more positive now and I think that comes through in all aspects of my life. I am definitely more outgoing. I wouldn??t hesitate to do this again. When people ask me if it was worth it, I don??t even think twice. IT WAS SO COMPLETELY WORTH IT!!!!

I am a man in a macho-based profession and I have had 3 different surgeries with Dr. Martello. I had gynecomastia and an extra tire around the middle. The first surgery I had with Dr. Martello involved the removal of extra breast tissue and belly liposuction and love handles. At six weeks after surgery, I had lost 7 inches around my belly, 5 inches around my love handles and 4 inches from my breasts. Since that first surgery, I have had two more surgeries with Dr. Martello: chin liposuction (second surgery) and a brow lift and upper and lower eyelid tucks (third surgery).
Dr. Martello is an extremely intelligent woman with a variety of accomplishments, especially in the field of medicine. She is down-to-earth. She told me like it was and didn??t leave anything out. I felt very comfortable around Dr. Martello because she gives you the feeling that she cares deeply about her profession, but more importantly about her patients. Dr. Martello takes great pride in her work. This is something that I really admire about her.
The morning of my surgery, Dr. Martello was in the operating room with me holding my hand, while I drifted off to sleep. That evening, Dr. Martello came back to take care of my wounds, even after a full day??s office schedule. It??s a nice feeling to know that there are still doctors out there that care enough to make a ??house call.? Thank you Dr. Martello and to your entire staff for your kindness, generosity, dedication and skill that God has given you.

Dr. Martello has done 4 breast augmentations and 1 tummy tuck on my family members. She will be doing a tummy tuck on me in Dec. She is very detailed when giving you the information you need to make your decision. Her preop, operation and postop care go above and beyond what I have ever had from any other doctor.
