Huge ego with a added GOD complex. I have been a patient of Dr. Gould for over a year only because I have crappy insurance and he is the only one within 50 miles of my rural home. I literally hate going to his office. The huge hulking woman at the front desk who ignores you when you sign in and refuses to slide the glass window back to acknowledge your intrusion on her miserable day.
Once in to see the "delicate genius" he can not get out fast enough! He has one foot out the door the second he arrives. He treats you as an inferior and is not concerned at all about what you have to say. He KNOWS what is best for you. I have been his guinea pig by him testing this and trying that just to see what happens. Meanwhile I have had almost no relief for my disabling migraines. He has sent me for every test including 3 times at his sleep clinic overnight. 5 iron infusions. Sixteen different medications. Nine blood test. An expensive sleep apnea mask and still I have had little to no progress. His lack of caring about your suffering almost makes him a monster. Trying to get him or his staff to return a phone call is almost impossible. Getting refills on your prescriptions is again almost impossible no matter how much you tell them you are suffering. The office closes early and you are not allowed to contact him after hours or on the weekends. He does not have an answering service and if you have an emergency you have to go to the hospital because he will not see you unless it is during normal business hours. He mocks your feelings and is in it for the money. He does not answer questions because he does not feel the need to explain anything to you. STAY AWAY!

A horrible, condescending man. I went to him for almost two years and never recieved a diagnosis. He kept telling me I had an iron deficiency and thats what was causing all of my neurologic issues, 2 iron infusions later my iron way sky high and I was still symptomatic. When I brought up a condition to him, his response was "nope, sorry, not it, try again", that was my last straw with him. I asked the office to transfer my records and after a month that had not done it yet, I finally had to go in and pay out of my own pocket for copies and transfer them myself to a better facility. This man does not listen and when he does he never repears the same information back to you. Everything he says is Restless Leg or iron deficiency. I feel like a fool for wasting so much of my time and money on him.
