So, when I first moved to Spring Hill, I had a 3 year old and a 3 month old. We'd already moved twice in the past year and not particularly attached to any pediatrician or doctor. I first went to Centennial Pediatrics since they were right down the street, took our insurance and accepting new patients. I wasn't expecting much.
And the first couple of appointments, I wasn't impressed by the office in its entirely. The office and Dr. Ray all seemed aloof to me at first. But, like most people, it takes time to forge a personal bond. So, fast-forward two years later, and I love Dr. Ray and absolutely could not do without her! She had been there with us through multiple ear infections, gently took care of my son during a serious episode with a 2nd degree burn, listened patiently to the many concerns we had and gave advice, wrote referrals for whatever else was needed. My kids adore her and now we have a new baby that she has taken great care of. Now, I can't imagine my kids growing up without her as their pediatrician. <3

My advice for those who are looking for a good pediatrician? Give Dr. Ray a chance--she will surprise you!

Dr. Ray is an aloof doctor who would not spend the necessary time with the child. For instance, she did not do a physical on my older child the first time that we went to see her, instead she opted to wait on the file transfer from his previous doctor. This uncaring attitude repeated itself during my newborn??s first visit. She had extremely alarmed us when she said that the child had lost almost a pound within the first few days. We went for a second opinion, and it turned out that the child had actually gained few ounces. We have been to her office three times and it was exactly the same in every visit: toyless reception area, unwelcoming staff, and hurried service. I guess that would explain the consistently empty clinic and the availability of appointments.
