This doctor almost killed me. He misdiagnosed my condition and continued with the wrong course. He cannot be trusted (But beware, he has a good way of sounding trustworthy). Please consider my story and stay away...far, far away.
You have been forewarned.

"Dr. Osborne is the most brilliant physician I know"...this was something repeated to me by his colleagues many times over. My personal experience with him measures up to that statement. This man pulled my then 47 year old husband back from the brink of death when everyone (other doctors at the hospital, the nurses, etc.) was sure he was not going to make it through the night. Dr. Osborne refused to give up on him and never left the ICU floor that first night.

My husband was so ill he was put on the heart transplant list (though the hospital staff, other than Osborne, did not think he would make it past 24 hours from the onset of this first, acute episode!). This illness came on literally overnight. My husband was in ICU with only a 7% ejection fraction (heart function) from an acute episode of cardiomyopathy and because of the treatment he received from Dr. Osborne, he is with me today. Thanks to Dr. Osborne's acute care at that time, and ongoing monitoring since, my husband has a near-normal heart function today and can do everything he did before.

Visiting Dr. Osborne's office is a pleasure. To say his office is comfortable is an understatement. It is beautifully decorated, stunning, even, and there is no waiting in a crowded waiting room. One feels like they are entering an exlusive spa rather than a cardiologist's office. Patients are virtually whisked to their own exam room, where again the surroundings are very warm and comfy...all wood and leather. Soothing videos and music play on a big flatscreen while one waits. I recall that the first time we visited Dr. Osborne in his new (current) offices, my hubby was able to lie down on an extremely soft and cozy exam table, was provided with a pillow and a blanket (mind you it looked nothing like an exam table, nor did the room look like an exam room) and promptly fell asleep!

His staff is topnotch. Dr. Osborne himself has an incredible bedside manner and never makes one feel rushed. He stays until every last question is answered. He keeps on top of all the latest research and is able to perform many complex tests within the comfort of his own offices. He accepts all major insurance. His goal is to prevent the need for hospitalization and to avoid acute episodes for his patients. To that end, he has succeeded in the care of my husband...in spades!

We continue to recommend him to others with heart problems, and he continues to treat not only my husband but other family members and friends with very happy results. If you need a cardiologist...the BEST cardiologist, he is the only physician to see.
