.

Initial appoitments went well. When a problem did present itself, it was not addressed..ignored to the point of needing urgent treatment elsewhere. Was strongly disappointed with the lack of follow-up.

Difficult getting referrals for appropriate testing (I am an occupational therapist with a good knowledge of hand anatomy/function). Unable to treat my own patients or work due to my hand problems-never got an answer as to what it was. Three months later, I am searching for another physician.Difficulty getting messages to doctor. Doctor did not listen to my concerns, and office staff said my primary care physician should contact them, not me (the patient). She (my primary care physician) sent me for diagnostic testing, but I was treated without anything other than x-rays (which I already had through my primary doc). Some of the staff were very nice, but a couple made me feel like I was a bother. Also did not like no handwashing between patients-sometimes gloves worn, but these also transmit germs if not changed between patients. Office door should be automatic-especially for a clinic which treats hand dysfunctions (watched people fumble with door while casted). I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance through my employer.
