I went to Joy's for my first ever Brazilian wax. I'd never had any kind of wax before. Needless to say, I was pretty nervous about the pain, not to mention having someone detailing areas I prefer to attend to myself.
Joy was wonderful. She helped me relax as much as I could. There was a good amount of pain, but she made sure I stayed comfortable and would take breaks as she kept talking to take my mind off of it. I was very pleased with how thorough and affordable it was. It's a tiny place, but family-owned and everyone was very friendly. I will be going back.
Just returned from a first class manicure/pedicure from a great little spa located in the middle of Adams Morgan. It's not to often that I get a mani/pedi treatment, but this signature pedicure is the best I've ever had! Highly recommended, there located on the second floor above the Asylum on 18th St.
