Dr. Thompson was recommended to my by a friend after my previous gyno told me what I was going through was 'Normal for a 32 year old woman without children.' then told me to take more Vitamin D. I went to Dr T with a list of 20 questions, and she had answered most of them before I had to ask. Dr Thompson really got to know me, and listened to all of my symptoms and it turns out after an internal ultrasound (which my other Dr didn't even mention!) that I had several large fibroids. She then gave me two options and we discussed what would be best for my life and situation. She ws careful about my incision, and the nurse even commented that it was one of the smallest she had ever seen, I only had 9 staples. She treats patients as individuals, (one of the reasons she doesn't give percentage based statistics on c-sections as someone complained about) Every person and situation is different. I love her and will continue to recommend her. Her office is not fancy, but she is one of the most kind women I have ever met.

I loved Dr. T. I started my pregnancy out with Dr. T and mid pregnancy my insurance changed to one that her office couldn't accept. I was bummed and had to switch physicians. The doctors I switched to were horrible compared to Dr. T. When I was in labor, Dr. T actually came in to check on me which I thought was lovely. Her office is older but everything was still professional. She makes you feel so comfortable and when I first heard my baby's heartbeat, her and my husband actually danced to the beat, which I thought was cute. She doesn't make you feel like just another patient but someone who she genuinely cares about. I'm a big girl and have never had anyone in her office call me fat, Dr. T will encourage to loose weight but she does it in a manner that will motivate you. She gets just as excited for you for good news and is by your side with the not so good news as well. Needless to say, I got a new job and with it came new insurance. I'm now back at Dr. T's office and she welcomed me back with a big hug. You don't find many genuine doctors that give you all the time you need at appointments to talk. I would recommend her to anyone, and I do.

Dr. Thompson is the most wonderful, caring OBGYN in this area. I went to her a few years ago, thinking I was pregnant, just to find out the baby had stopped developing. She was marvelous at handling this terrible, unforeseen news. Then we were lucky enough to get pregnant a few years later. I was 44 with that pregnancy, which went great. I totally trust her and the nurses there. The building is a bit older, but the equipment was fine, it was not ancient. I love her philosophy and bedside manner. She lets you discuss and make decisions together. The delivery was a bit touchy since the cord was wrapped around my son's neck, but she was calm and cool and you never would have known how serious it was. In seconds the cord was cut and he was fine. I was able to have my mom, sister, husband and older daughter all there for the delivery. She even went to another hospital that she is further from her practice so I could have my family in the room. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. If you want someone to tell you what to and treat you like you have no brains, then go to another doctor, if you want to have someone who values your input and feelings, then Dr. Thompson is your doctor!!!!!

I went to Dr. Thompson with my first pregnancy and she along with her staff treated me wonderfully! Everyone has positive attitudes and I never once had a problem feeling uncomfortable with anyone. The assistants really get to know you there and become "friends" after a while.

I read a review saying that the new assistant Dr. Kaza called someone fat, well, maybe you should stick with who you've had before her.
Dr. Kaza tells it like it is , which is good to hear if she says that pregnancy makes you look even more beautiful :)

As for not having a spouse come into a room, everytime mine comes with he is in there while I dress and undress. He doesn't leave my side which also makes me feel more relaxed.

Dr. T doesn't do episiotomies unless she thinks they are necessary.. If you don't want to rip she will ask if you'd like to be cut.

This is the best OB that I have ever seen and I highly recommend her to anyone

This is a back alley DR. NEVER go here. The equipment in the office is from the 1950s and the medical supplies are kept in antique dresses in the room. I was asked to hold my PAP Smear testing tubes while swabbed. Unprofessional can't even begin to describe this action!! I was patronizingly rubbed on the back while completely naked as Dr. Kaza, Dr. Thompson's associate, told me I was fat and I needed to lose weight. Most of all, they would not let my husband come back with me when I asked. This is our second baby and my husband has always gone to every appointment with me. I left there feeling embarresed and stripped of my dignity. I have cried all day and I hope no one ever goes through this. I am a very laid back person and not much upsets me so being so upset about this experience concerns me greatly for other women going here. NEVER NEVER go here!!

When I saw Dr Thompson, she was pleasant, but dismissive of my questions in regards to her C-section rate, rate of episiotomies and so on. She seemed to think these were questions I shouldn't concern myself with and told me she doesn't keep records like that anyways. I didn't continue with the practice after a few visits.
